আমি বনী ইসরাঈলকে কিতাব, রাজত্ব ও নবুওয়ত দান করেছিলাম এবং তাদেরকে পরিচ্ছন্ন রিযিক দিয়েছিলাম এবং বিশ্ববাসীর উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছিলাম।
And indeed We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, and the understanding of the Scripture and its laws, and the Prophethood; and provided them with good things, and preferred them above the ’Alamîn (mankind and jinns) (of their time, during that period),
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Walaqad atayna banee isra-eela alkitaba waalhukma waalnnubuwwata warazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahum AAala alAAalameena
YUSUFALI: We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations.
PICKTHAL: And verily we gave the Children of Israel the Scripture and the Command and the Prophethood, and provided them with good things and favoured them above (all) peoples;
SHAKIR: And certainly We gave the Book and the wisdom and the prophecy to the children of Israel, and We gave them of the goodly things, and We made them excel the nations.
KHALIFA: We have given the Children of Israel the scripture, wisdom, and prophethood, and provided them with good provisions; we bestowed upon them more blessings than any other people.
১৬। পূর্বে আমি তো বনী ইসরাঈলীকে কিতাব , কর্তৃত্ব ও নবুয়ত দান করেছিলাম ৪৭৫২। আমি তাদের উত্তম ও পবিত্র জীবনোপকরণ দান করেছিলাম ৪৭৫৩। এবংআমি তাদের সকল জাতির উপরে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছিলাম।
৪৭৫২। এই আয়াতে যে যুক্তির উপস্থাপন করা হয়েছে তা [ ৪৪ : ৩২- ৩৩ ] আয়াতের বক্তব্যের অনুরূপ , তবে এখানে বিশেষ উদাহরণের উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। হযরত মুসার মাধ্যমে ইসরাঈলীরা আল্লাহ্র কিতাব বা প্রত্যাদেশ লাভ করে। তাদের আল্লাহ্ পৃথিবীর বুকে ক্ষমতা ও কর্তৃত্ব দান করেন। দাউদ নবী ও হযরত সুলাইমানের বিশাল রাজত্বই হচ্ছে এর প্রকৃষ্ঠ উদাহরণ। এ ব্যতীত আল্লাহ্ তাদের মাঝে বহু নবী ও রসুল প্রেরণ করেন , যেমন ইসাঈয়া ,জেরেমীয়া ইত্যাদি।
৪৭৫৩। ‘উত্তম জীবনোপকরণ”। মুসার আইন – খাদ্য সামগ্রীর উপরে বিধি নিষেধ আরোপ করে। অপবিত্র ও অপরিষ্কারকে পরিহার করতে বলা হয়। এবং যা কিছু পবিত্র ও সম্মানজনক শুধু তাই গ্রহণ করতে বলা হয়। আল্লাহ্ ইসরাঈলীদের সম্পদে, প্রাচুর্যে পৃথিবীর অন্যান্য জাতিদের উর্দ্ধে স্থান দিয়েছিলেন। দাউদ নবী ও সুলাইমানের রাজত্বকালে তারা ছিলো সম্পদে ক্ষমতায় সমকালীন বিশ্বে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ। উপরন্তু আল্লাহ্ তাদের মাঝে বহু নবী ও রসুল প্রেরণ করে এ কথাই প্রমাণ করেছেন যে তারা বিশ্ব জগতের উপরে শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব অর্জন করেছিলো। আল্লাহ্র বাণী ধারণের ক্ষমতা লাভ করার অর্থ আল্লাহ্র মনোনয়ন লাভ করা।
