PICKTHAL: Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it,
SHAKIR: This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink).
KHALIFA: What they taste therein will be hellish drinks and bitter food.

৪২১৩। দেখুন [ ১০ : ৪ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ১৩৯০। ইংরেজীতে অনুবাদ করা হয়েছে “and a fluid dark marky, intensely cold.” ফুটন্ত পানির সাথে পূঁজ অথবা উপরের বর্ণিত তরল পদার্থ যাই-ই যোগ করা হোক না কেন , তা শাস্তির তীব্রতাকেই বোঝানো হয়েছে। বেহেশতের মনোরম পরিবেশের সাথে সুখ ও শান্তির যে উপস্থাপনা করা হয়েছে তার সম্পূর্ণ বিপরীত চিত্র হচ্ছে দোযখের বর্ণনা।
