মুনাফিকরা এবং যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে এবং মদীনায় গুজব রটনাকারীরা যদি বিরত না হয়, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে আপনাকে উত্তেজিত করব। অতঃপর এই শহরে আপনার প্রতিবেশী অল্পই থাকবে।
If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while.
لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْمُرْجِفُونَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ لَنُغْرِيَنَّكَ بِهِمْ ثُمَّ لَا يُجَاوِرُونَكَ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا
La-in lam yantahi almunafiqoona waallatheena fee quloobihim maradun waalmurjifoona fee almadeenati lanughriyannaka bihim thumma la yujawiroonaka feeha illa qaleelan
YUSUFALI: Truly, if the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time:
PICKTHAL: If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbours in it but a little while.
SHAKIR: If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the agitators in the city do not desist, We shall most certainly set you over them, then they shall not be your neighbors in it but for a little while;
KHALIFA: Unless the hypocrites, and those with disease in their hearts, and the vicious liars of the city refrain (from persecuting you), we will surely grant you the upper hand, then they will be forced to leave within a short while.
৬০। মুনাফেকগণ এবং যাদের অন্তরে ব্যাধি রয়েছে তারা এবং নগরে গুজব রটনাকারীরা ৩৭৬৮, যদি তাদের [হীন কাজ থেকে ] বিরত না হয়, আমি নিশ্চয়ই তোমাকে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রবল করবো। এরপরে তারা এখানে তোমার প্রতিবেশীরূপে থাকতে অল্প সময়ের জন্য সক্ষম হবে না।
৩৭৬৮। রসুলের [ সা ] নগরীতে মুসলমানদের বিরুদ্ধে গুজব রটানো হারাম বা নিষিদ্ধ। এরূপ কাজ যারা করবে তাদের জন্য এই আয়াতে কঠোরভাবে সর্তকবাণী উচ্চারণ করা হয়েছে। এরূপ কাজ শুধুমাত্র মোনাফেকদের দ্বারাই করা সম্ভব, কারণ মোনাফেকরা মুখে নিজেদের মুসলমান বলে দাবী করলেও, অন্তরে তারা মুসলিম বিরোধী। মোনাফেকদের প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্য হচ্ছে তারা চিন্তায় – কথায় ও কাজে পরস্পর বিরোধী। তারা এরূপ করে কারণ তাদের অন্তর অর্থাৎ মানসিক অবস্থা ব্যধিগ্রস্থ। সেখানে আন্তরিকতা, বিশ্বস্ততা ও সত্যবাদিতার কোনও স্থান নাই। যারা মোনাফেক অর্থাৎ ” অন্তরে ব্যধিগ্রস্থ ” তারাই
১) নিরীহ ও নিদোর্ষ মহিলাদের উৎপীড়ন করতে ভালোবাসে
২) এরাই মিথ্যা গুজব দ্বারা নগরীতে গণ বিদ্রোহের সূচনার প্রয়াস পায়।
অনুবাদকের মন্তব্য : মোনাফেকদের এই বৈশিষ্ট্য আজও আমাদের সমাজে প্রকটভাবে বিদ্যমান। ধর্মের নামে নারী নির্যাতন ও সমাজে অশান্তি সৃষ্টির প্রয়াস এসব মোনাফেকদের আজও প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্য।
