অতঃপর আমি তাকে ও তার বাহিনীকে পাকড়াও করলাম, তৎপর আমি তাদেরকে সমুËেদ্র নিক্ষেপ করলাম। অতএব, দেখ জালেমদের পরিণাম কি হয়েছে।
So We seized him and his hosts, and We threw them all into the sea (and drowned them). So behold (O Muhammad SAW) what was the end of the Zâlimûn [wrong-doers, polytheists and those who disbelieved in the Oneness of their Lord (Allâh), or rejected the advice of His Messenger Mûsa (Moses) ].
فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ
Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi faonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatu alththalimeena
YUSUFALI: So We seized him and his hosts, and We flung them into the sea: Now behold what was the end of those who did wrong!
PICKTHAL: Therefor We seized him and his hosts, and abandoned them unto the sea. Behold the nature of the consequence for evil-doers!
SHAKIR: So We caught hold of him and his hosts, then We cast them into the sea, and see how was the end of the unjust.
KHALIFA: Consequently, we punished him and his troops, by throwing them into the sea. Note the consequences for the transgressors.
৪০। সুতারাং আমি তাকে ও তার বাহিনীকে পাকড়াও করলাম এবং আমি তাদের সমুদ্রে নিক্ষেপ করলাম ৩৩৭৩। এখন দেখো ; যারা পাপ করে তাদের শেষ পরিণতি কি ঘটে।
৩৩৭৩। দেখুন সূরা [ ৭ : ১৩০ – ১৩৬ ] আয়াত যেখানে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে ফেরাউনের বিভিন্ন ঘটনা এবং বলা হয়েছে শেষ পর্যন্ত তাকে সমুদ্রে ডুবিয়ে দেয়া হয়। এখানেও সমুদ্রে নিক্ষেপের কথা বলা হয়েছে। ফেরাউন ও তার বাহিনী হচ্ছে সেই রকম লোক যারা শুধু ধবংস ও বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করতে পারে। ফলে নিজেরাও ধ্বংস হয়ে যায়। সুখ বা শান্তির জন্য তারা কোনও কিছু করতে অক্ষম কারণ তাদের আত্মার মাঝে বিরাজ করে প্রচন্ড দম্ভ ও অহংকার। এই দম্ভ ও অহংকারের ফলে তাদের আত্মায় জন্ম নেয় হিংসা, ঘৃণা , বিদ্বেষ ও আক্রোশ। আমাদের চারিপাশে যাদের চরিত্রে দম্ভ, অহংকার , হিংসা , দ্বেষ , আক্রোশে পরিপূর্ণ তারা নিজেরাও শান্তি পায় না , তাদের চারিপাশে যারা অবস্থান করে তাদেরও শান্তি হরণ করে নেয়।
