বল তো কে পৃথিবীকে বাসোপযোগী করেছেন এবং তার মাঝে মাঝে নদ-নদী প্রবাহিত করেছেন এবং তাকে স্থিত রাখার জন্যে পর্বত স্থাপন করেছেন এবং দুই সমুদ্রের মাঝখানে অন্তরায় রেখেছেন। অতএব, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য আছে কি? বরং তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
Is not He (better than your gods) Who has made the earth as a fixed abode, and has placed rivers in its midst, and has placed firm mountains therein, and has set a barrier between the two seas (of salt and sweet water).Is there any ilâh (god) with Allâh? Nay, but most of them know not.
أَمَّن جَعَلَ الْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَالَهَا أَنْهَارًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا أَإِلَهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Amman jaAAala al-arda qararan wajaAAala khilalaha anharan wajaAAala laha rawasiya wajaAAala bayna albahrayni hajizan a-ilahun maAAa Allahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona
YUSUFALI: Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, most of them know not.
PICKTHAL: Is not He (best) Who made the earth a fixed abode, and placed rivers in the folds thereof, and placed firm hills therein, and hath set a barrier between the two seas? Is there any Allah beside Allah? Nay, but most of them know not!
SHAKIR: Or, Who made the earth a restingplace, and made in it rivers, and raised on it mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier. Is there a god with Allah? Nay! most of them do not know!
KHALIFA: Who is the One who made the earth habitable, caused rivers to run through it, placed on it mountains, and created a barrier between the two waters? Is it another god with GOD? Indeed, most of them do not know.
৬১। অথবা কে পৃথিবীকে স্থির করেছেন মানুষের বসবাসের জন্য ; এর মধ্যে প্রবাহিত করেছেন নদী সমূহ, উহাতে স্থাপন করেছেন সুদৃঢ় পর্বত ৩২৯৫; এবং দুই দরিয়ার মাঝে সৃষ্টি করেছেন অন্তরায় ৩২৯৬। আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত অন্য উপাস্য থাকতে পারে কি ? হ্যাঁ তাদের বেশীর ভাগ লোকই জানে না।
৩২৯৫। দেখুন আয়াত [ ১৬ : ১৫ ] এবং টিকা ২০৩৮ ও ২০৩৯ এবং [২৫:৫৩] ও টিকা ৩১১১
শুকনা স্থল ভূমি ও প্রবাহিত পানির স্রোতের মাঝে আল্লাহ্ সুকৌশলে পানির চক্র স্থাপন করেছেন।
পানি চক্র হচ্ছে :
সমুদ্রের লোনা পানি ->মেঘ ->বৃষ্টি ->নদী,নালা ->সমুদ্রের লোনা পানি
সব কিছুই একই পানি বারে বারে চক্রাকারে আবর্তিত হচ্ছে কিন্তু আল্লাহ্র কি অপার করুণা কখনও সমুদ্রের লবণাক্ত পানি আবর্তিত মিষ্টি পানির সাথে মিশে যাচ্ছে না। শুধু কি তাই; সমুদ্রের দ্বারা পরিবেষ্টিত ক্ষুদ্র দ্বীপাবলীর [ যেমন মহেশখালী ] মাঝে পাওয়া যায় মিষ্টি সুপেয় জলরাশি। স্রষ্টার এ এক অদৃশ্য বাঁধা বা অন্তরায় যার ফলে লবণাক্ত পানির দরিয়া ও সুস্বাদু মিষ্টি পানিতে কখনও মিশে যায় না।
