অতএব, তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলতে লাগল এবং আমি তাদেরকে নিপাত করে দিলাম। এতে অবশ্যই নিদর্শন আছে; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাসী নয়।
So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
Fakaththaboohu faahlaknahum inna fee thalika laayatan wama kana aktharuhum mu/mineena
YUSUFALI: So they rejected him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.
PICKTHAL: And they denied him; therefor We destroyed them. Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers.
SHAKIR: So they gave him the lie, then We destroyed them. Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe.
KHALIFA: They thus disbelieved and, consequently, we annihilated them. This should be a lesson, but most people are not believers.
১৩৯। সুতারাং তারা তাকে প্রত্যাখান করেছিলো এবং আমি তাদের ধ্বংস করেছিলাম ; অবশ্যই এতে রয়েছে নিদর্শন;কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাস করে না।
