তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিবাহহীন, তাদের বিবাহ সম্পাদন করে দাও এবং তোমাদের দাস ও দাসীদের মধ্যে যারা সৎকর্মপরায়ন, তাদেরও। তারা যদি নিঃস্ব হয়, তবে আল্লাহ নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদেরকে সচ্ছল করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।
And marry those among you who are single (i.e. a man who has no wife and the woman who has no husband) and (also marry) the Sâlihûn (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allâh will enrich them out of His Bounty. And Allâh is All-Sufficent for His creatures’ needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people).
وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَى مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ إِن يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاء يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
Waankihoo al-ayama minkum waalssaliheena min AAibadikum wa-ima-ikum in yakoonoo fuqaraa yughnihimu Allahu min fadlihi waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun
YUSUFALI: Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among yourselves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and he knoweth all things.
PICKTHAL: And marry such of you as are solitary and the pious of your slaves and maid-servants. If they be poor, Allah will enrich them of His bounty. Allah is of ample means, Aware.
SHAKIR: And marry those among you who are single and those who are fit among your male slaves and your female slaves; if they are needy, Allah will make them free from want out of His grace; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.
KHALIFA: You shall encourage those of you who are single to get married. They may marry the righteous among your male and female servants, if they are poor. GOD will enrich them from His grace. GOD is Bounteous,
৩২। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা অবিবাহিত ২৯৮৮, অথবা তোমাদের ক্রীতদাসদের মধ্য, পুরুষ বা নারী, যারা পূণ্যাত্মা তাদের বিবাহ দাও [ কর ]। যদি তারা দরিদ্র হয় আল্লাহ্ নিজ কৃপায় তাদের অভাবমুক্ত করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ সব কিছু বেষ্টন করে আছেন ২৯৮৯, এবং তিনি সব কিছু জানেন।
২৯৮৮। “Ayama” হচ্ছে “Aiyim”এর বহু বচন। অর্থ যে পুরুষের স্ত্রী নাই অথবা যে নারীর স্বামী নাই। উহারা অবিবাহিত বিপত্নীক অথবা বিধবা যাই হোক না কেন, যৌন জীবনকে পবিত্র রাখতে বিবাহ বন্ধন অত্যাবশ্যক।
২৯৮৯। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৫ : ৫৪ ]। আল্লাহ্র করুণা সকলের জন্য সমভাবে বিদ্যমান। তাঁর দয়া ও রহমত কোন বিশেষ শ্রেণীর জন্য সংরক্ষিত থাকে না।
