সত্য যদি তাদের কাছে কামনা-বাসনার অনুসারী হত, তবে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডল এবং এগুলোর মধ্যবর্তêী সবকিছুই বিশৃঙ্খল হয়ে পড়ত। বরং আমি তাদেরকে দান করেছি উপদেশ, কিন্তু তারা তাদের উপদেশ অনুধাবন করে না।
And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder.
وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ أَهْوَاءهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَن ذِكْرِهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ
Walawi ittabaAAa alhaqqu ahwaahum lafasadati alssamawatu waal-ardu waman feehinna bal ataynahum bithikrihim fahum AAan thikrihim muAAridoona
YUSUFALI: If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition.
PICKTHAL: And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away.
SHAKIR: And should the truth follow their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those who are therein would have perished. Nay! We have brought to them their reminder, but from their reminder they turn aside.
KHALIFA: Indeed, if the truth conformed to their wishes, there would be chaos in the heavens and the earth; everything in them would be corrupted. We have given them their proof, but they are disregarding their proof.
৬৯। অথবা তারা কি তাদের রসুলকে সনাক্ত করতে পারে নাই বলে তাকে অস্বীকার করে ?
৭০। অথবা তারা বলে , ” সে তো পাগল ? ” না সে তো তাদের জন্য সত্যকে এনেছে। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই সত্যকে ঘৃণা করে।
৭১। যদি সত্য তাদের কামনা- বাসনার অনুগামী হতো, তবে অবশ্যই আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর এবং উহাদের মধ্যবর্তী সকল কিছুই বিশৃঙ্খল ও দুর্নীতিগ্রস্থ হয়ে পড়তো ২৯১৯। বরং আমি তাদের নিকট উপদেশ পাঠিয়েছি। কিন্তু তারা উপদেশ থেকে মুখ ঘুরিয়ে নেয়।
২৯১৯। আল্লাহ্ মহা-জ্ঞানী ও সকল কল্যাণের অধিশ্বর। পৃথিবীতে যারা জ্ঞানী তারা সারা বিশ্ব -জাহানের সৃষ্টির মাঝে এক সমন্বিত শৃঙ্খলার ঐক্যতান দর্শনে বিমোহিত হয়ে যান। সারা বিশ্ব-ব্রহ্মান্ড স্রষ্টার অমোঘ , সুশৃঙ্খল নিয়মের বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ। একেই আমরা বলে থাকি প্রাকৃতিক আইন। এই আইনকে লংঘন করার শক্তি কারও নাই। আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা স্বয়ং সম্পূর্ণ। যদি আল্লাহ্র অমোঘ আইন অপ্রতিরোধ্য না হয়ে প্রতিরোধ্য হতো, এবং এসব হীন-স্বার্থপরদের দ্বারা নিয়ন্ত্রিত হওয়ার সুযোগ থাকতো, তবে পৃথিবী এক ভয়াবহ স্থানে পরিণত হতো। তা হতো দূর্নীতি , দুঃশাসন ও বিশৃঙ্খলাতে পরিপূর্ণ।
