অনন্তর পাকড়াও করল তাদেরকে ভূমিকম্প। ফলে তারা সকাল বেলায় গৃহ মধ্যে উপুড় হয়ে পড়ে রইল।
So the earthquake seized them and they lay (dead), prostrate in their homes.
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
Faakhathat-humu alrrajfatu faasbahoo fee darihim jathimeena
YUSUFALI: But the earthquake took them unawares, and they lay prostrate in their homes before the morning!
PICKTHAL: So the earthquake seized them and morning found them prostrate in their dwelling-place.
SHAKIR: Then the earthquake overtook them, so they became motionless bodies in their abode.
KHALIFA: The quake annihilated them, leaving them dead in their homes.
