লোভঃ প্রবৃত্তিরারম্ভঃ কর্মণামশমঃ স্পৃহা ।
রজস্যেতানি জায়ন্তে বিবৃদ্ধে ভরতর্ষভ ॥ ১৪-১২॥

লোভঃ = greed
প্রবৃত্তিঃ = activity
আরম্ভঃ = endeavor
কর্মণাং = in activities
অশমঃ = uncontrollable
স্পৃহা = desire
রজসি = of the mode of passion
এতানি = all these
জায়ন্তে = develop
বিবৃদ্ধে = when there is an excess
ভরতর্ষভ = O chief of the descendants of Bharata.
