ন হি কশ্চিত্ক্ষণমপি জাতু তিষ্ঠত্যকর্মকৃত্ ।
কার্যতে হ্যবশঃ কর্ম সর্বঃ প্রকৃতিজৈর্গুণৈঃ ॥ ৩-৫॥

হি = certainly
কশ্চিত্ = anyone
ক্ষণং = a moment
অপি = also
জাতু = at any time
তিষ্ঠতি = remains
অকর্মকৃত্ = without doing something
কার্যতে = is forced to do
হি = certainly
অবশঃ = helplessly
কর্ম = work
সর্বঃ = all
প্রকৃতিজৈঃ = born of the modes of material nature
গুণৈঃ = by the qualities.
