সুখদুঃখে সমে কৃত্বা লাভালাভৌ জয়াজয়ৌ ।
ততো য়ুদ্ধায় য়ুজ্যস্ব নৈবং পাপমবাপ্স্যসি ॥ ২-৩৮॥
সুখ = happiness
দুঃখে = and distress
সমে = in equanimity
কৃত্বা = doing so
লাভালাভৌ = both profit and loss
জয়াজয়ৌ = both victory and defeat
ততঃ = thereafter
য়ুদ্ধায় = for the sake of fighting
য়ুজ্যস্ব = engage (fight)
ন = never
এবং = in this way
পাপং = sinful reaction
অবাপ্স্যসি = you will gain.
