দেহী নিত্যমবধ্যোঽয়ং দেহে সর্বস্য ভারত ।
তস্মাত্সর্বাণি ভূতানি ন ত্বং শোচিতুমর্হসি ॥ ২-৩০॥

দেহী = the owner of the material body
নিত্যং = eternally
অবধ্যঃ = cannot be killed
অয়ং = this soul
দেহে = in the body
সর্বস্য = of everyone
ভারত = O descendant of Bharata
তস্মাত্ = therefore
সর্বাণি = all
ভূতানি = living entities (that are born)
ন = never
ত্বং = you
শোচিতুং = to lament
অর্হসি = deserve.
