বেদেষু য়জ্ঞেষু তপঃসু চৈব
দানেষু য়ত্পুণ্যফলং প্রদিষ্টম্ ।
অত্যেতি তত্সর্বমিদং বিদিত্বা
য়োগী পরং স্থানমুপৈতি চাদ্যম্ ॥ ৮-২৮॥
বেদেষু = in the study of the Vedas
য়জ্ঞেষু = in the performances of yajna, sacrifice
তপঃসু = in undergoing different types of austerities

দানেষু = in giving charities
