উপদেশ ফলপ্রসূ হলে উপদেশ দান করুন,
Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them).
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَى
Fathakkir in nafaAAati alththikra
YUSUFALI: Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer).
PICKTHAL: Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder.
SHAKIR: Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit.
KHALIFA: Therefore, you shall remind; perhaps the reminder will benefit.
৯। সুতারাং উপদেশ দাও, যদি উপদেশ [ শ্রবণকারীর জন্য ] ফলপ্রসু হয়। ৬০৮৮
৬০৮৮। বাইবেলে আছে, “Cast not pearls before swine.” [ Matt vii – 6 ] । কুর-আনে এতটা কঠোর ভাষা প্রয়োগ করা হয় নাই। তবে ১০ নং আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে কাদের জন্য উপদেশ কার্যকরী এবং [ ১১ – ১৩ ] আয়াতে বলা হয়েছে কাদের জন্য উপদেশ কার্যকরী নয়। যারা আল্লাহ্র ভয়ে ভীত হয় তাদের জন্য ব্যক্তিগত উপদেশ ফলপ্রসু। অপরপক্ষে যারা উপদেশ থেকে দূরে সরে যায় তাদের জন্য ব্যক্তিগতভাবে উপদেশ দান করা নিরর্থক। এরাই হলো হতভাগ্য যারা নিজের ধ্বংস নিজে ডেকে আনে।
