আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলার নির্দিষ্টকাল যখন হবে, তখন অবকাশ দেয়া হবে না, যদি তোমরা তা জানতে!
”He (Allâh) will forgive you of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Verily, the term of Allâh when it comes, cannot be delayed, if you but knew.”
يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى إِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ إِذَا جَاء لَا يُؤَخَّرُ لَوْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Yaghfir lakum min thunoobikum wayu-akhkhirkum ila ajalin musamman inna ajala Allahi itha jaa la yu-akhkharu law kuntum taAAlamoona
YUSUFALI: “So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated Term: for when the Term given by Allah is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if ye only knew.”
PICKTHAL: That He may forgive you somewhat of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Lo! the term of Allah, when it cometh, cannot be delayed, if ye but knew.
SHAKIR: He will forgive you some of your faults and grant you a delay to an appointed term; surely the term of Allah when it comes is not postponed; did you but know!
KHALIFA: “He will then forgive you your sins and respite you for a predetermined period. Most assuredly, GOD’s appointment can never be delayed, once it is due, if you only knew.”
৪। “তাহলে তিনি তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন এবং তোমাদের অবকাশ দেবেন এক নির্দ্দিষ্টকাল পর্যন্ত। যখন আল্লাহ্ কর্তৃক দেয় নির্দ্দিষ্ট সময়কাল শেষ হয়, তখন তা বিলম্বিত করা যায় না ৫৭০৮। যদি তোমরা তা জানতে।
৫৭০৮। আল্লাহ্ মানুষকে আত্মসংশোধনের জন্য পৃথিবীর জীবনে অবসর দান করে থাকেন। আল্লাহ্র আদেশ হচ্ছে চিরন্তন সত্য। যে সত্যকে পরিবর্তন বা পরিবর্ধন বা পরিমার্জন করার ক্ষমতা এই পৃথিবীতে কাউকে দেয়া হয় নাই। সুতারাং এই সত্যকে হৃদয়ের মাঝে উপলব্ধি করে আল্লাহ্র প্রদত্ত নির্দ্দিষ্ট সময়কালের মাঝে আত্মসংশোধনের মাধ্যমে সকলের আল্লাহ্র ক্ষমা লাভ করার চেষ্টা করা উচিত। আল্লাহ্র ক্ষমালাভের মাধ্যমেই ইহকাল ও পরকালে শান্তি লাভ করা সম্ভব।
