আমি সর্বনিম্ন আকাশকে প্রদীপমালা দ্বারা সুসজ্জত করেছি; সেগুলোকে শয়তানদের জন্যে ক্ষেপণাস্ত্রবৎ করেছি এবং প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছি তাদের জন্যে জলন্ত অগ্নির শাস্তি।
And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayâtin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire.
وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ
Walaqad zayyanna alssamaa alddunya bimasabeeha wajaAAalnaha rujooman lilshshayateeni waaAAtadna lahum AAathaba alssaAAeeri
YUSUFALI: And we have, (from of old), adorned the lowest heaven with Lamps, and We have made such (Lamps) (as) missiles to drive away the Evil Ones, and have prepared for them the Penalty of the Blazing Fire.
PICKTHAL: And verily We have beautified the world’s heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame.
SHAKIR: And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning.
KHALIFA: We adorned the lowest universe with lamps, and guarded its borders with projectiles against the devils; we prepared for them a retribution in Hell.
৫। আর নিশ্চয় আমি [ দুনিয়ার ] নিকটতম আসমানকে ৫৫৬১ সুশোভিত করেছি প্রদীপমালা দ্বারা এবং এই সব [ প্রদীপকে ] করেছি শয়তানকে বিতাড়ণের ক্ষেপনাস্ত্র ৫৫৬২। এবং তাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত রেখেছি জ্বলন্ত অগ্নির শাস্তি।
৫৫৬১। “নিকটবর্তী আকাশের” জন্য দেখুন টিকা সূরা [ ৩৭: ৫ ] আয়াতের টিকা ৪০৩৫।
৫৫৬২। নির্মেঘ রাতের আকাশে যে উল্কাখন্ডের পতন হয়, তা প্রতীকের সাহায্যে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে সূরা [ ১৫ : ১৬- ১৮ ] আয়াতে এবং টিকাতে ১৯৫১ – ৫৪ ] উল্কাকেও সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে মানুষের কল্যাণের জন্য কারণ বলা হয়েছে, ” উহাদের করেছি শয়তানকে বিতাড়ণের ক্ষেপনাস্ত্র।” কিন্তু কেউ যদি এ সব বস্তুর প্রতি অযৌক্তিকভাবে, কুসংস্কারবশতঃ ভক্তি ও শ্রদ্ধা প্রদর্শন করে, যা তাদের কল্পনা প্রসূত, তবে তারা কি জলন্ত অগ্নির শাস্তি নিয়ে খেলা করছে না ? সে শাস্তির পরিমাণ র্নিধারণ করার ক্ষমতা কারও নাই।
