আল্লাহ তাদের জন্যে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি প্রস্তত রেখেছেন অতএব, হে বুদ্ধিমানগণ, যারা ঈমান এনেছ, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি উপদেশ নাযিল করেছেন।
Allâh has prepared for them a severe torment. So fear Allâh and keep your duty to Him, O men of understanding who have believed! – Allâh has indeed sent down to you a Reminder (this Qur’ân).
أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَا أُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَدْ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا
aAAadda Allahu lahum AAathaban shadeedan faittaqoo Allaha ya olee al-albabi allatheena amanoo qad anzala Allahu ilaykum thikran
YUSUFALI: Allah has prepared for them a severe Punishment (in the Hereafter). Therefore fear Allah, O ye men of understanding – who have believed!- for Allah hath indeed sent down to you a Message,-
PICKTHAL: Allah hath prepared for them stern punishment; so keep your duty to Allah, O men of understanding! O ye who believe! Now Allah hath sent down unto you a reminder,
SHAKIR: Allah has prepared for them severe chastisement, therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah, O men of understanding who believe! Allah has indeed revealed to you a reminder,
KHALIFA: GOD has prepared for them severe retribution. Therefore, you shall reverence GOD, O you who possess intelligence and believed. GOD has sent down to you a message –
৯। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কৃতকর্মের মন্দ পরিণতি আস্বাদন করেছিলো। তাদের কৃতকর্মের শেষ ফলাফল হচ্ছে [ পরলোকের ] শাস্তি।
১০। আল্লাহ্ [ পরলোকে ] তাদের জন্য কঠিন শাস্তি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন ৫৫২৩। সুতারাং হে বোধশক্তিসম্পন্ন মানবকূল, যারা ঈমান এনেছ তারা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ্ তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছেন উপদেশ ৫৫২৪

৫৫২৪। যুগে যুগে আল্লাহ্ পৃথিবীতে তার হেদায়েতের আলো প্রেরণ করেছেন, সকল সৃষ্টির মাঝে, তার নিদর্শন বিদ্যমান, এর পরেও বিপথে যাওয়ার প্রশ্নই ওঠে না। এর পরে যারা যায়, তাদের ওজর বা আপত্তি হচ্ছে ভ্রান্ত দেখুন পরবর্তী টিকা।
