তিনিই তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কাফের এবং কেউ মুমিন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
He it is Who created you, then some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers. And Allâh is All-Seer of what you do.
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
Huwa allathee khalaqakum faminkum kafirun waminkum mu/minun waAllahu bima taAAmaloona baseerun
YUSUFALI: It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do.
PICKTHAL: He it is Who created you, but one of you is a disbeliever and one of you is a believer, and Allah is Seer of what ye do.
SHAKIR: He it is Who created you, but one of you is an unbeliever and another of you is a believer; and Allah sees what you do.
KHALIFA: He is the One who created you, then among you there is the disbeliever, and the believer. GOD is fully Seer of everything you do.
২। তিনিই তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তোমাদের মধ্যে কেহ কেহ হয় অবিশ্বাসী এবং কিছুসংখ্যক হয় বিশ্বাসী বা মুমিন ৫৪৮০। তোমরা যা কর আল্লাহ্ তা সব দেখেন।
৫৪৮০। আল্লাহ্ কাফের, বিদ্রোহী ও পাপীদের সম্বন্ধে সম্যক অবগত, এ কথা যেনো কেউ মনে না করে যে, তিনি এদের শাস্তি দানের ক্ষমতা রাখেন না। সকল মানুষকেই আল্লাহ্ পূত পবিত্র ভাবে সৃষ্টি করে থাকেন। মানুষ আল্লাহ্র দেয়া সীমিত স্বাধীন ইচ্ছাশক্তির অপব্যবহার দ্বারা নিজেকে অপবিত্র ও পাপী করে ফেলে। তাঁদের এই অবাধ্যতা ও পাপ আল্লাহ্র জ্ঞানের সীমার বাইরে নয়। তবে আল্লাহ্ মানুষকে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে শাস্তি দান করেন না। অনুতপ্ত হয়ে সঠিক রাস্তায় ফিরে আসার জন্য অবসর দান করে থাকেন। আল্লাহ্র বিচক্ষণ পরিকল্পনার এও এক অংশ বৈকি যা মানুষকে বারে বারে সুযোগ দান করে থাকে মন্দ থেকে জীবনের মহত্তর পরিণতির দিকে অগ্রসর হওয়ার।
