যেদিন কপট বিশ্বাসী পুরুষ ও কপট বিশ্বাসিনী নারীরা মুমিনদেরকে বলবেঃ তোমরা আমাদের জন্যে অপেক্ষা কর, আমরাও কিছু আলো নিব তোমাদের জ্যোতি থেকে। বলা হবেঃ তোমরা পিছনে ফিরে যাও ও আলোর খোঁজ কর। অতঃপর উভয় দলের মাঝখানে খাড়া করা হবে একটি প্রাচীর, যার একটি দরজা হবে। তার অভ্যন্তরে থাকবে রহমত এবং বাইরে থাকবে আযাব।
On the Day when the hypocrites men and women will say to the believers: ”Wait for us! Let us get something from your light!” It will be said: ”Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!” So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Inside it will be mercy, and outside it will be torment.”
يَوْمَ يَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا انظُرُونَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِن نُّورِكُمْ قِيلَ ارْجِعُوا وَرَاءكُمْ فَالْتَمِسُوا نُورًا فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُم بِسُورٍ لَّهُ بَابٌ بَاطِنُهُ فِيهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُهُ مِن قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُ
Yawma yaqoolu almunafiqoona waalmunafiqatu lillatheena amanoo onthuroona naqtabis min noorikum qeela irjiAAoo waraakum failtamisoo nooran faduriba baynahum bisoorin lahu babun batinuhu feehi alrrahmatu wathahiruhu min qibalihi alAAathabu
YUSUFALI: One Day will the Hypocrites- men and women – say to the Believers: “Wait for us! Let us borrow (a Light) from your Light!” It will be said: “Turn ye back to your rear! then seek a Light (where ye can)!” So a wall will be put up betwixt them, with a gate therein. Within it will be Mercy throughout, and without it, all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment!
PICKTHAL: On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! Then there will separate them a wall wherein is a gate, the inner side whereof containeth mercy, while the outer side thereof is toward the doom.
SHAKIR: On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say to those who believe: Wait for us, that we may have light from your light; it shall be said: Turn back and seek a light. Then separation would be brought about between them, with a wall having a door in it; (as for) the inside of it, there shall be mercy in it, and (as for) the outside of it, before it there shall be punishment.
KHALIFA: On that day, the hypocrite men and women will say to those who believed, “Please allow us to absorb some of your light.” It will be said, “Go back behind you, and seek light.” A barrier will be set up between them, whose gate separates mercy on the inner side, from retribution on the outer side.
১৩। সেদিন মোনাফেক পুরুষরা ও মোনাফেক নারীরা মোমেনদের বলবে, ” আমাদের জন্য অপেক্ষা কর। তোমাদের আলো থেকে আমাদের আলো ধার করতে দাও ৫২৯০। ” [ তাদের ] বলা হবে : ” তোমরা তোমাদের পিছনে ফিরে যাও। তারপরে [ যেখান থেকে পার ] আলোর সন্ধান কর।” অতঃপর উভয়ের মাঝামাঝি স্থাপিত হবে একটি প্রাচীর, যাতে একটি দরজা থাকবে। যার অভ্যন্তরে বরাবর থাকবে রহমত এবং বর্হিভাগ বরাবর থাকবে শাস্তি। ৫২৯১
৫২৯০। যারা পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহ্র প্রদর্শিত পথে জীবন অতিবাহিত করেন পরলোকে তাদের ঈমান থেকে আল্লাহ্র নূর প্রতিফলিত হবে। তাদের ঈমান ও সৎকাজ তাদের জন্য হবে সেই অন্ধকারময় দিনে পথের দিশারী আলো। এ আলো হবে একান্তই ব্যক্তিগত যা অন্যকে ধার দেয়া সম্ভব হবে না বা অন্যের কাছ থেকে ধার করাও সম্ভব হবে না। বাইবেলে [ Matt 25: 1 – 13 ] সুন্দর রূপকের মাধ্যমে বিষয়টিকে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। বর্ণনাটি এরূপ “When the foolish ones had let their lamps go out for want of oil, they asked to borrow oil from the wise ones, but the wise ones answered and said ,” No so ; …… but go ye rather to them that will, and buy for yourselves”.
৫২৯১। এই প্রাচীরকে এভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করা যায় : যেমন এই প্রাচীর হবে পাপী ও পূণ্যাত্মাদের ব্যক্তিসত্ত্বার পার্থক্যের প্রাচীর বা ভালো কাজ ও মন্দ কাজের তালিকা ভালোকে মন্দ থেকে পার্থক্য করে দেবে। প্রাচীরের মাঝে দরজা থাকবে যার দ্বারা বুঝানো হয়োছ যে, ভালো ও মন্দের মধ্যে যোগাযোগ সম্পূর্ণ বিচ্ছিন্ন হবে না। ফলে মন্দরা সেদিন বুঝতে সক্ষম হবে যে তাদের শত অন্যায় সত্বেও কল্যাণ বা আল্লাহ্র করুণা ও দয়া তাদের ধরা ছোঁয়ার সীমানার সম্পূর্ণ বাইরে নয়। যে শাস্তি সেদিন তাদের ঘিরে থাকবে তা হবে তাদের পাপের পরিণামে, কারণ তারা আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহকে প্রত্যাখান করেছিলো।
