যেদিন তাদেরকে মুখ হিঁচড়ে টেনে নেয়া হবে জাহান্নামে, বলা হবেঃ অগ্নির খাদ্য আস্বাদন কর।
The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): ”Taste you the touch of Hell!”
يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِي النَّارِ عَلَى وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا مَسَّ سَقَرَ
Yawma yushaboona fee alnnari AAala wujoohihim thooqoo massa saqara
YUSUFALI: The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) “Taste ye the touch of Hell!”
PICKTHAL: On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell.
SHAKIR: On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell.
KHALIFA: They will be dragged into the hellfire, forcibly. Suffer the agony of retribution.
৪৮। সেদিন তাদের মুখ উপুর করে আগুনের দিকে টেনে নেয়া হবে ৫১৬২, [ তারা শুনবে : ],” জাহান্নামের পরশ আস্বাদন কর।”
৫১৬২। “উপুর করে ” ইংরেজী অনুবাদ হয়েছে “On their faces” অর্থাৎ যখন কাউকে উপুর করা হয়, তখন তাদের মুখ নীচের দিকে থাকে। “মুখ উপুর করা ” বাক্যটি প্রতীক অর্থে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। ‘মুখ’ হচ্ছে মানুষের ব্যক্তিসত্ত্বার প্রতীক। পাপিষ্ঠদের পার্থিব সৃষ্টি সকল ব্যক্তিত্ব, কর্তৃত্ব ধ্বংস করা হবে এবং আগুনের মাঝে অবদমিত করা হবে।
