না তাদের কোন সিঁড়ি আছে, যাতে আরোহণ করে তারা শ্রবণ করে? থাকলে তাদের শ্রোতা সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করুক।
Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof.
أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُم بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
Am lahum sullamun yastamiAAoona feehi falya/ti mustamiAAuhum bisultanin mubeenin
YUSUFALI: Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof.
PICKTHAL: Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest!
SHAKIR: Or have they the means by which they listen? Then let their listener bring a clear authority.
KHALIFA: Do they climb a ladder that enables them to listen? Let their listeners show their proof.
৩৮। অথবা ওদের কি কোন সিড়ি রয়েছে ৫০৭২, যার সাহায্যে তারা আসমানে আরোহণ করে [ গোপন কথা ] শ্রবণ করতে পারে ? তাহলে তাদের [ এরূপ ] কোন শ্রবণকারীর সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ উপস্থিত করুক।
৫০৭২। দেখুন অনুরূপ আয়াত [ ৬ : ৬৫ ]। মোশরেক আরবদের যে অন্ধ বিশ্বাস ছিলো যে, বস্তুগত সিঁড়ির মাধ্যমে আকাশে আরোহণ করে আল্লাহ্র রহস্য উদ্ঘাটিত করা সম্ভব ; তারই প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করা হয়েছে।
