যারা সৎপথপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, তাদের সৎপথপ্রাপ্তি আরও বেড়ে যায় এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাকওয়া দান করেন।
While as for those who accept guidance, He increases their guidance, and bestows on them their piety.
وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْا زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَآتَاهُمْ تَقْواهُمْ
Waallatheena ihtadaw zadahum hudan waatahum taqwahum
YUSUFALI: But to those who receive Guidance, He increases the (light of) Guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil).
PICKTHAL: While as for those who walk aright, He addeth to their guidance, and giveth them their protection (against evil).
SHAKIR: And (as for) those who follow the right direction, He increases them in guidance and gives them their guarding (against evil).
KHALIFA: As for those who are guided, He augments their guidance, and grants them their righteousness.
১৭। কিন্তু যারা পথ নির্দ্দেশ গ্রহণ করে ৪৮৩৮, আল্লাহ্ তাদের জন্য পথের [ আলো ] বৃদ্ধি করেন এবং ধর্মানুরাগ দান করেন ও [ মন্দ থেকে ] বিরত রাখেন।
৪৮৩৮। আধ্যাত্মিক উন্নতি একদিনে ঘটে না। তা ঘটে ধীরে ধীরে এবং ধাপে ধাপে তা অগ্রসর হয়। প্রতিটি ধাপ পরবর্তী ধাপে আরোহণের পথকে সুগম ও দৃঢ় করে দেয় ও আত্মিক সম্পূর্ণতার দিকে পরিচালিত করে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ্ সৎ পথের পথিকদের সৎপথে চলার শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করেন। “তাদের জন্য পথের (আলো) বৃদ্ধি করেন।”
