যেদিন কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের সামনে পেশ করা হবে, সেদিন বলা হবে, এটা কি সত্য নয়? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা আমাদের পালনকর্তার শপথ। আল্লাহ বলবেন, আযাব আস্বাদন কর। কারণ, তোমরা কুফরী করতে।
And on the Day when those who disbelieve will be exposed to the Fire (it will be said to them): ”Is this not the truth?” They will say: ”Yes, By our Lord!” He will say: ”Then taste the torment, because you used to disbelieve!”
وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَلَى النَّارِ أَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِالْحَقِّ قَالُوا بَلَى وَرَبِّنَا قَالَ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
Wayawma yuAAradu allatheena kafaroo AAala alnnari alaysa hatha bialhaqqi qaloo bala warabbina qala fathooqoo alAAathaba bima kuntum takfuroona
YUSUFALI: And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) “Is this not the Truth?” they will say, “Yea, by our Lord!” (One will say:) “Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!”
PICKTHAL: And on the day when those who disbelieve are exposed to the Fire (they will be asked): Is not this real? They will say: Yea, by our Lord. He will say: Then taste the doom for that ye disbelieved.
SHAKIR: And on the day when those who disbelieve shall be brought before the fire: Is it not true? They shall say: Aye! by our Lord! He will say: Then taste the punishment, because you disbelieved.
KHALIFA: The day the disbelievers are introduced to the Hellfire, they will be asked, “Is this not the truth?” They will answer, “Yes indeed, by our Lord.” He will say, “Then suffer the retribution for your disbelief.”
৩৪। যেদিন অবিশ্বাসীদের [ জাহান্নামের ] আগুনের সম্মুখে উপস্থিত করা হবে ৪৮১৩ ; ও [ তাদের জিজ্ঞাসা করা হবে ], ” এটা কি সত্য নয় ? ” তারা বলবে, ” হ্যাঁ, আমাদের প্রভুর শপথ !” [ তখন বলা হবেঃ ] ” তাহলে শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর, কারণ তোমরা ছিলে [ সত্য ] প্রত্যাখানে অভ্যস্ত।” ৪৮১৪
৪৮১৩।। দেখুন আয়াত [ ৪৬ : ২০ ] যেখানে ঈমানদার পিতামাতার পাপিষ্ঠ সন্তানের উদাহরণ দ্বারা অবিশ্বাসীদের শেষ পরিণতি সম্বন্ধে সিদ্ধান্ত দেয়া হয়েছে। এই আয়াতেও আদ্ জাতি ও ঈমানদার জ্বিন্ সম্প্রদায়ের উদাহরণের মাধ্যমে একই ভাবে কাফিরদের শেষ পরিণতির পরিসমাপ্তি টানা হয়েছে।
৪৮১৪। যারা অবিশ্বাসী তাদের নিকট পরলোকের জীবনের প্রকৃত চিত্ররূপ থাকে অবগুণ্ঠিত। তারা চেষ্টা করেও এই পৃথিবীতে তা অনুধাবনে অক্ষম। বস্তুগত জগত তাদের এমন ভাবে আচ্ছন্ন করে রাখে যে, তার বাইরে তারা কিছুই উপলব্ধি করে না। তাদের আধ্যাত্মিক জগত থাকে অন্ধকারে সমাচ্ছন্ন। মৃত্যুর পরপারে তাদের এই আচ্ছন্নতা বিদূরীত হয়। তারা তখন প্রকৃত সত্যের রূপ দেখতে সক্ষম হয়। কিন্তু তারা তখন সত্যের আলো ও আল্লাহ্র সান্নিধ্য বঞ্চিত হয়। পরলোকের জীবন হচ্ছে আধ্যাত্মিক জীবন। সে জীবনের সর্বোচ্চ কল্যাণ ও পাওয়া হচ্ছে আল্লাহ্র সান্নিধ্য লাভ করা ও তাঁর নূরে আত্মাকে আলোকিত করা। যে তা বঞ্চিত হয় সে হয় দোযখের অধিবাসী।
