যখন আমি একদল জিনকে আপনার প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করেছিলাম, তারা কোরআন পাঠ শুনছিল,। তারা যখন কোরআন পাঠের জায়গায় উপস্থিত হল, তখন পরস্পর বলল, চুপ থাক। অতঃপর যখন পাঠ সমাপ্ত হল, তখন তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে সতর্ককারীরূপে ফিরে গেল।
And (remember) when We sent towards you (Muhammad SAW) Nafran (three to ten persons) of the jinns, (quietly) listening to the Qur’ân, when they stood in the presence thereof, they said: ”Listen in silence!” And when it was finished, they returned to their people, as warners.
وَإِذْ صَرَفْنَا إِلَيْكَ نَفَرًا مِّنَ الْجِنِّ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقُرْآنَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوا أَنصِتُوا فَلَمَّا قُضِيَ وَلَّوْا إِلَى قَوْمِهِم مُّنذِرِينَ
Wa-ith sarafna ilayka nafaran mina aljinni yastamiAAoona alqur-ana falamma hadaroohu qaloo ansitoo falamma qudiya wallaw ila qawmihim munthireena
YUSUFALI: Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur’an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, “Listen in silence!” When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins).
PICKTHAL: And when We inclined toward thee (Muhammad) certain of the jinn, who wished to hear the Qur’an and, when they were in its presence, said: Give ear! and, when it was finished, turned back to their people, warning.
SHAKIR: And when We turned towards you a party of the jinn who listened to the Quran; so when they came to it, they said: Be silent; then when it was finished, they turned back to their people warning (them).
KHALIFA: Recall that we directed a number of jinns to you, in order to let them hear the Quran. When they got there, they said, “Listen.” As soon as it was over, they rushed to their people, warning.
২৯। স্মরণ কর, আমি তোমার প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করেছিলাম একদল জ্বিনকে, যারা [ নিঃশব্দে ] কুর -আন পাঠ শুনছিলো ৪৮০৯। যখন তারা উহার [ পাঠের ] নিকটে উপস্থিত হলো, তারা [ একে অন্যকে ] বলল, ” চুপ করে শোন।” যখন [ পাঠ ] সমাপ্ত হলো তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট ফিরে গেলো, সর্তক করার জন্য [তাদের পাপ থেকে ]।
৪৮০৯। ‘Nafar’ শব্দটি দ্বারা তিন থেকে দশজনের সমষ্টির একটি দলকে বোঝানো হয়েছে। জ্বিন শব্দটির অর্থের জন্য দেখুন [ ৬ : ১০০ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ৯২৯। জ্বিনের এই দলটি মনোযোগ ও ভক্তি সহকারে কোরাণ পাঠ শ্রবণ করে। পরবর্তী আয়াতে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে যে, তারা হযরত মুসার কিতাব সম্বন্ধেও সম্পূর্ণ ওয়াকিবহাল ছিলো। তারা ইহুদীদের ধর্ম সম্বন্ধে পূর্বেই জ্ঞাত হলেও তারা ইসলাম ধর্মের রূপরেখাতে গভীরভাবে প্রভাবিত হয়ে পড়ে। তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট ফিরে যায় এবং সকলকে ইসলামের দিকে আহ্বান করে।
