আমি এগুলো যথাযথ উদ্দেশ্যে সৃষ্টি করেছি; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
We created them not except with truth (i.e. to examine and test those who are obedient and those who are disobedient and then reward the obedient ones and punish the disobedient ones), but most of them know not.
مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Ma khalaqnahuma illa bialhaqqi walakinna aktharahum la yaAAlamoona
YUSUFALI: We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand.
PICKTHAL: We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not.
SHAKIR: We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know.
KHALIFA: We created them for a specific purpose, but most of them do not know.
৩৮। আমি তো আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীকে এবং তাদের মধ্যবর্তী সকল কিছুকে [ অলস ] খেলার জন্য সৃষ্টি করি নাই ৪৭১৭।
৩৯। নির্দ্দিষ্ট উদ্দেশ্য ব্যতীত তাদের সৃষ্টি করি নাই। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশ তা বুঝতে পারে না।
৪৭১৭। দেখুন আয়াত [ ২১ : ১৬ ] ও টিকা ২৬৭৬। এই বিশ্ব ব্রহ্মান্ড সৃষ্টি আল্লাহ্র কোন “লীলা খেলা” নয়। সমস্ত বিশ্ব ব্রহ্মান্ড সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে একটি নির্দ্দিষ্ট উদ্দেশ্যের প্রতি নিবেদন করে যা আল্লাহ্র জ্ঞান ও প্রজ্ঞারই স্বাক্ষর। সাধারণতঃ অধিকাংশ মানুষ এই উদ্দেশ্যকে অনুধাবনে অক্ষম হয় কারণ তার আত্ম অহংকার ও একগুয়েমী তাকে এ সব অনুধাবনে বাঁধার সৃষ্টি করে। তাদের অজ্ঞতাই তাদের এরূপ অহংকারী ও একগুয়েতে পরিণত করে; যার ফলে সৃষ্টির মাঝে মানুষের অবস্থান , শেষ পরিণতি উপলব্ধিতে তারা অক্ষম হয়।
