অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে থেকে বিভিন্ন দল মতভেদ সৃষ্টি করল। সুতরাং যালেমদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক দিবসের আযাবের দুর্ভোগ।
But the sects from among themselves differed. So woe to those who do wrong (by ascribing things to ’Iesa (Jesus) that are not true) from the torment of a painful Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)!
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَيْنِهِمْ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ
Faikhtalafa al-ahzabu min baynihim fawaylun lillatheena thalamoo min AAathabi yawmin aleemin
YUSUFALI: But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers, from the Penalty of a Grievous Day!
PICKTHAL: But the factions among them differed. Then woe unto those who do wrong from the doom of a painful day.
SHAKIR: But parties from among them differed, so woe to those who were unjust because of the chastisement of a painful day.
KHALIFA: The opponents disputed among themselves. Woe to those who transgress from the retribution of a painful day.
৬৫। কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যে নানা দল মতানৈক্য সৃষ্টি করলো। সুতারাং দুর্ভাগ্য পাপীদের জন্য , ভয়াবহ দিবসের শাস্তির জন্য।
৬৬। তারা কি কেয়ামতের অপেক্ষাকরছে ? ৪৬৬৫। এটা তাদের উপরে আকস্মিক ভাবে আপতিত হবে,যখন তারা তা অনুধাবনও করবে না।
৪৬৬৫। দেখুন আয়াত [ ১২ : ১০৭ ]। যারা কোনও অবস্থাতেই আল্লাহ্র রাস্তা গ্রহণ করে না ; প্রকারান্তে তারা নিজেদের ধ্বংসের জন্য প্রতীক্ষা করে। যে কোন মূহুর্তে তাদের উপরে ধ্বংস নেমে আসতে পারে। সঠিক ঘটনা বুঝে ওঠার পূর্বেই তাদের কেয়ামত ঘটে যেতে পারে। এই আয়াতে তাদের আহ্বান করে বলা হয়েছে যে, তারা যেনো বিভ্রান্তিকর তর্কবির্তক ত্যাগ করে সরল পথে আগমন করে।
