যাতে তোমরা তাদের পিঠের উপর আরোহণ কর। অতঃপর তোমাদের পালনকর্তার নেয়ামত স্মরণ কর এবং বল পবিত্র তিনি, যিনি এদেরকে আমাদের বশীভূত করে দিয়েছেন এবং আমরা এদেরকে বশীভূত করতে সক্ষম ছিলাম না।
In order that you may mount firmly on their backs, and then may remember the Favour of your Lord when you mount thereon, and say: ”Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts).”
لِتَسْتَوُوا عَلَى ظُهُورِهِ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا سُبْحانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ
Litastawoo AAala thuhoorihi thumma tathkuroo niAAmata rabbikum itha istawaytum AAalayhi wataqooloo subhana allathee sakhkhara lana hatha wama kunna lahu muqrineena
YUSUFALI: In order that ye may sit firm and square on their backs, and when so seated, ye may celebrate the (kind) favour of your Lord, and say, “Glory to Him Who has subjected these to our (use), for we could never have accomplished this (by ourselves),
PICKTHAL: That ye may mount upon their backs, and may remember your Lord’s favour when ye mount thereon, and may say: Glorified be He Who hath subdued these unto us, and we were not capable (of subduing them);
SHAKIR: That you may firmly sit on their backs, then remember the favor of your Lord when you are firmly seated thereon, and say: Glory be to Him Who made this subservient to us and we were not able to do it
KHALIFA: As you rest on top of them, you shall appreciate such a blessing from your Lord, and say, “Glory be to the One who subdued this for us. We could not have controlled them by ourselves.
১৩। যেনো তোমরা উহাদের পৃষ্ঠে স্থির হয়ে বসতে পার, এবং এরূপভাবে বসে, তোমরা যেনো তোমাদের প্রভুর [দয়া ও ] অনুগ্রহ কীর্তন করতে পার ৪৬১৮ , এবং বল, ” সব মহিমা আল্লাহ্র যিনি এগুলিকে আমাদের অধীন করে দিয়েছেন [ ব্যবহারের জন্য ], অথচ আমরা[ নিজেরা এগুলিকে ] কখনও বশীভূত করতে সমর্থ হতাম না।
৪৬১৮। দেখুন পূর্বের টিকা। বোধশক্তি সম্পন্ন ব্যক্তিরা এ কথা অনুধাবন করে যে, প্রকৃত মঙ্গল ও মানব সভ্যতার বিভিন্ন উপকরণ সর্বশক্তিমান আল্লাহ্র দান যা মানুষের উদ্ভাবনী ক্ষমতার মাধ্যমে প্রকাশ পায়।
