তাদের কি এমন শরীক দেবতা আছে, যারা তাদের জন্যে সে ধর্ম সিদ্ধ করেছে, যার অনুমতি আল্লাহ দেননি ? যদি চুড়ান্ত সিন্ধান্ত না থাকত, তবে তাদের ব্যাপারে ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত। নিশ্চয় যালেমদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
Or have they partners with Allâh (false gods), who have instituted for them a religion which Allâh has not allowed. And had it not been for a decisive Word (gone forth already), the matter would have been judged between them. And verily, for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers), there is a painful torment.
أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاء شَرَعُوا لَهُم مِّنَ الدِّينِ مَا لَمْ يَأْذَن بِهِ اللَّهُ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةُ الْفَصْلِ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Am lahum shurakao sharaAAoo lahum mina alddeeni ma lam ya/than bihi Allahu walawla kalimatu alfasli laqudiya baynahum wa-inna alththalimeena lahum AAathabun aleemun
YUSUFALI: What! have they partners (in godhead), who have established for them some religion without the permission of Allah? Had it not been for the Decree of Judgment, the matter would have been decided between them (at once). But verily the Wrong-doers will have a grievous Penalty.
PICKTHAL: Or have they partners (of Allah) who have made lawful for them in religion that which Allah allowed not? And but for a decisive word (gone forth already), it would have been judged between them. Lo! for wrong-doers is a painful doom.
SHAKIR: Or have they associates who have prescribed for them any religion that Allah does not sanction? And were it not for the word of judgment, decision would have certainly been given between them; and surely the unjust shall have a painful punishment.
KHALIFA: They follow idols who decree for them religious laws never authorized by GOD. If it were not for the predetermined decision, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the transgressors have incurred a painful retribution.
২১। সে কি !তাদের কি এমন সব শরীক [ দেবতা ] আছে যারা তাদের জন্য এমন সব ধর্ম প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছে যার অনুমতি আল্লাহ্ দেন নাই ? ৪৫৫৬ আর যদি বিচার সম্বন্ধে [পূর্ব ] ঘোষণা না থাকতো , তবে তাদের মধ্যে বিষয়টির মীমাংসা [ তৎক্ষণাত ] হয়ে যেতো। প্রকৃতপক্ষে পাপীদের জন্য রয়েছে ভয়াবহ শাস্তি।
৪৫৫৬। আল্লাহ্র হুকুম ব্যতীত কোন কিছুরই অস্তিত্ব থাকতে পারে না। যারা আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত মিথ্যা উপাস্যের উপাসনা করে , তারা কি বলতে পারে যে, ” কেন আল্লাহ্ তাদের এ কাজের অনুমতি দান করেন ? ” এর উত্তরহচ্ছে , আল্লাহ্ আদম সন্তানকে সীমিত আকারে স্বাধীন ইচ্ছাশক্তি দান করেছেন – পৃথিবীতে তার জবাবদিহিতা নাই , কিন্তু তাদের এই কাজের জন্য তাদের অবশ্যই পরলোকে জবাবদিহি করতে হবে। দেখুন আয়াত [ ১৩: ৬ ] ও টিকা ১৮১০। ‘পূর্ব ঘোষণা ‘- এ জন্য দেখুন আয়াত [ ১০ : ১৯ ] ও টিকা ১৪০৭।
