তিনি তো তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটির দ্বারা, অতঃপর শুক্রবিন্দু দ্বারা, অতঃপর জমাট রক্ত দ্বারা, অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে বের করেন শিশুরূপে, অতঃপর তোমরা যৌবনে পদর্পণ কর, অতঃপর বার্ধক্যে উপনীত হও। তোমাদের কারও কারও এর পূর্বেই মৃত্যু ঘটে এবং তোমরা নির্ধারিত কালে পৌঁছ এবং তোমরা যাতে অনুধাবন কর।
It is He Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; then lets you become old,- though of you there are some who die before;- and lets you reach a Term appointed; in order that ye may learn wisdom.
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا شُيُوخًا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّى مِن قَبْلُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
Huwa allathee khalaqakum min turabin thumma min nutfatin thumma min AAalaqatin thumma yukhrijukum tiflan thumma litablughoo ashuddakum thumma litakoonoo shuyookhan waminkum man yutawaffa min qablu walitablughoo ajalan musamman walaAAallakum taAAqiloona
YUSUFALI: It is He Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; then lets you become old,- though of you there are some who die before;- and lets you reach a Term appointed; in order that ye may learn wisdom.
PICKTHAL: He it is Who created you from dust, then from a drop (of seed) then from a clot, then bringeth you forth as a child, then (ordaineth) that ye attain full strength and afterward that ye become old men – though some among you die before – and that ye reach an appointed term, that haply ye may understand.
SHAKIR: He it is Who created you from dust, then from a small lifegerm, then from a clot, then He brings you forth as a child, then that you may attain your maturity, then that you may be old– and of you there are some who are caused to die before– and that you may reach an appointed term, and that you may understand.
KHALIFA: He is the One who created you from dust, and subsequently from a tiny drop, then from a hanging embryo, then He brings you out as a child, then He lets you reach maturity, then you become old – some of you die earlier. You attain a predetermined age, that you may understand.
৬৭। তিনিই তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন মৃত্তিকা থেকে ৪৪৪৪; তারপরে শুক্রবিন্দু থেকে, তারপরে জোঁকের মত জমাট রক্তপিন্ড থেকে। অতঃপর তিনি তোমাদের শিশুরূপে আলোতে বের করেন। তারপরে যেনো তোমরা [ বৃদ্ধি প্রাপ্ত হয়ে ] যৌবনে পৌঁছাতে পার এবং পরে যেনো বৃদ্ধ হও। যদিও তোমাদের মধ্যে কতক পূর্বেই মারা যায়। এবং [অধিকাংশকে ] এক নির্ধারিত কাল পর্যন্ত বেঁচে থাকতে হয় এই হেতু যে , তোমরা যেনো জ্ঞান আহরণ করতে পার।
৪৪৪৪। দেখুন অনুরূপ আয়াত [ ২২ : ৫ ] ও টিকা ২৭৭৩ এবং ২৭৭৪। মানব সন্তানের সারা জীবনের বিভিন্ন ধাপকে এই আয়াতে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে :
১) প্রথমঃ অতি সাধারণ বস্তু থেকে মানব দেহের সৃষ্টি যা হচ্ছে ধূলা বা কাঁদা।
২) দ্বিতীয়ঃ পিতার নিকট থেকে প্রাপ্ত শুক্রানু ;
৩) তৃতীয় : মাতৃ জরায়ুতে ডিম্বের নিষিক্তকরণ;
৪) চতুর্থঃ মানব শিশুরূপে ধরণীতে আগমন ;
৫) পঞ্চমঃ পূর্ণ যৌবন প্রাপ্তি
৬) ষষ্ঠঃ বার্দ্ধক্য বা ক্ষয়িষ্ণু অবস্থা ;
৭) সপ্তমঃ পরিসমাপ্তি বা মৃত্যু।
এই সাতটি ধাপের মাধ্যমে মানব জীবনের বিভিন্ন ধাপকে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। তবে কখনও কখনও শেষের ধাপগুলি কেহ কেহ সমাপ্ত করতে সক্ষম হয় না। তবে সকল ক্ষেত্রেই প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তিকেই আল্লাহ্ নির্ধারিত নির্দ্দিষ্ট সময় অতিক্রান্ত করতে হয় এবং জীবনের পূর্ণতা প্রাপ্ত হতে হয়। এভাবেই মাটির তৈরী মাবন, জীবনের মহত্তর ও বৃহত্তর উদ্দেশ্যকে সফলতার দ্বার প্রান্তে নিয়ে যায়এবং আল্লাহ্র ইচ্ছার পূর্ণতা সাধন করে। মানুষ যেনো সমগ্র বিষয়টিকে চিন্তার মাধ্যমে অনুধাবন করে।
