হে আমার কওম, পার্থিব এ জীবন তো কেবল উপভোগের বস্তু, আর পরকাল হচ্ছে স্থায়ী বসবাসের গৃহ।
“O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last.
يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّمَا هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ وَإِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ هِيَ دَارُ الْقَرَارِ
Ya qawmi innama hathihi alhayatu alddunya mataAAun wa-inna al-akhirata hiya daru alqarari
YUSUFALI: “O my people! This life of the present is nothing but (temporary) convenience: It is the Hereafter that is the Home that will last.
PICKTHAL: O my people! Lo! this life of the world is but a passing comfort, and lo! the Hereafter, that is the enduring home.
SHAKIR: O my people! this life of the world is only a (passing) enjoyment, and surely the hereafter is the abode to settle;
KHALIFA: “O my people, this first life is a temporary illusion, while the Hereafter is the eternal abode.”
৩৯। ” হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! বর্তমান জীবন তো [ ক্ষণস্থায়ী ] সুখ স্বাচ্ছন্দ ব্যতীত অন্য কিছু নয়। পরলোকের জীবন হচ্ছে স্থায়ী আবাস ৪৪১২।
৪৪১২। মোমেন ব্যক্তি আধ্যাত্মিক অন্তর্দৃষ্টিতে অনুভব করতে পেরেছিলেন যে, জাগতিক ধন-সম্পদ, ক্ষমতা, প্রতিপত্তি এসব ক্ষণস্থায়ী বিত্ত-বিভব মাত্র। অনন্ত জীবনের পটভূমিতে তা খুবই অস্থায়ী। পরলোকের জীবনই স্থায়ী জীবন। মানুষের শেষ পরিণতি পরলোকের স্থায়ী জীবন। মানুষের সৃষ্টিই করা হয়েছে ইহলোকের জীবনের মাধ্যমে পরিশ্রুত হয়ে অনন্ত পরলোকের জীবনে প্রবেশ লাভ করার জন্য।
