হে আমার কওম, আজ এদেশে তোমাদেরই রাজত্ব, দেশময় তোমরাই বিচরণ করছ; কিন্তু আমাদের আল্লাহর শাস্তি এসে গেলে কে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে? ফেরাউন বলল, আমি যা বুঝি, তোমাদেরকে তাই বোঝাই, আর আমি তোমাদেরকে মঙ্গলের পথই দেখাই।
“O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?” Pharaoh said: “I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!”
يَا قَوْمِ لَكُمُ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ ظَاهِرِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِن بَأْسِ اللَّهِ إِنْ جَاءنَا قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ مَا أُرِيكُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَرَى وَمَا أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ الرَّشَادِ
Ya qawmi lakumu almulku alyawma thahireena fee al-ardi faman yansuruna min ba/si Allahi in jaana qala firAAawnu ma oreekum illa ma ara wama ahdeekum illa sabeela alrrashadi
YUSUFALI: “O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?” Pharaoh said: “I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!”
PICKTHAL: O my people! Yours is the kingdom to-day, ye being uppermost in the land. But who would save us from the wrath of Allah should it reach us? Pharaoh said: I do but show you what I think, and I do but guide you to wise policy.
SHAKIR: O my people! yours is the kingdom this day, being masters in the land, but who will help us against the punishment of Allah if it come to us? Firon said: I do not show you aught but that which I see (myself), and I do not make you follow any but the right way.
KHALIFA: “O my people, today you have kingship and the upperhand. But who will help us against GOD’s judgment, should it come to us?” Pharaoh said, “You are to follow only what I see fit; I will guide you only in the right path.”
২৯। “হে আমার সম্প্রদায় ! আজ দেশের কর্তৃত্ব তোমাদের। দেশে তোমরা ক্ষমতাশালী রয়েছ ৪৩৯৯। কিন্তু আমাদের উপরে আল্লাহ্র শাস্তি এসে পড়লে কে আমাদের সাহায্য করবে ? ” ফেরাউন বলেছিলো , “আমি [ নিজে ] যা দেখি তা ব্যতীত তোমাদের অন্য কিছু দেখাচ্ছি না ৪৪০০। আমি তো তোমাদের কেবল সৎপথই দেখিয়ে থাকি। ”
৪৩৯৯। উপরোক্ত মোমেন ব্যক্তির বক্তব্য ছিলো নিম্নরূপ : “ক্ষমতা আজ তোমাদের হাতে , ক্ষমতার দম্ভে তোমরা বর্তমানে উদ্ধত ও অহংকারী হয়ো না। ক্ষমতা কি চিরদিন থাকে? পাপের দ্বারা তোমরা যদি তোমাদের নিজেদের উপরে আল্লাহ্র শাস্তিকে ডেকে আন, কে তোমাদের রক্ষা করবে ? ”
৪৪০০। ফেরাউনের অহংকার ও উদ্ধত আচরণের প্রকাশ ঘটেছিলো তার বক্তব্যের মধ্য দিয়ে , ” আমি সব কিছু পর্যবেক্ষণে সক্ষম , এবং আমি সব কিছু বুঝি , এবং আমি সেভাবেই তোমাদের নির্দ্দেশ দান করে থাকি। আমি সঠিক পথের সন্ধান জানি ,এবং তোমাদের সঠিক পথের নির্দ্দেশ দান করে থাকি ; সুতারাং তোমরা আমার অনুসরণ কর।”
যারা মিথ্যাবাদী ও সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী তারা হয় উদ্ধত ও অহংকারী । তারা সব সময়েই ভ্রান্ত পথে চলে। ফেরাউনের চরিত্রের বৈশিষ্ট্যের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্ আমাদের এই শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন।
