আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.
إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ لِلنَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَى فَلِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
Inna anzalna AAalayka alkitaba lilnnasi bialhaqqi famani ihtada falinafsihi waman dalla fa-innama yadillu AAalayha wama anta AAalayhim biwakeelin
YUSUFALI: Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.
PICKTHAL: Lo! We have revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture for mankind with truth. Then whosoever goeth right it is for his soul, and whosoever strayeth, strayeth only to its hurt. And thou art not a warder over them.
SHAKIR: Surely We have revealed to you the Book with the truth for the sake of men; so whoever follows the right way, it is for his own soul and whoever errs, he errs only to its detriment; and you are not a custodian over them.
KHALIFA: We have revealed the scripture through you for the people, truthfully. Then, whoever is guided is guided for his own good, and whoever goes astray goes astray to his own detriment. You are not their advocate.
৪১। অবশ্যই আমি তোমার প্রতি সত্যসহ কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করেছি , মানুষের [ নির্দ্দেশনার ] জন্য ৪৩০৪। অতঃপর যে পথ-নির্দ্দেশ গ্রহণ করে সে তা করে নিজেরই আত্মার কল্যাণের জন্য। কিন্তু যে বিপথে গমন করে সে তার নিজের আত্মারই ক্ষতি করে। আর তুমি তাদের কাজের জন্য দায়ী নও ৪৩০৫।
৪৩০৪। আল্লাহ্ রসুলদের মাধ্যমে তাঁর প্রত্যাদেশ প্রেরণ করেছেন সকল মানুষের জন্য। এই প্রত্যাদেশের মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্ পৃথিবীতে জীবন ধারণের পথ নির্দ্দেশ প্রেরণ করেছেন। পুরুষ নারী সকলের জন্য আছে সৎ পথের সন্ধান। প্রত্যাদেশের বাণী অমোঘ সত্য , সেখানে কোনও রহস্যময়তা বা অস্পষ্টতা নাই। যে তা অনুসরণ করে সে তা করে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্য। যদি কেউ তা প্রত্যাখান করে , তবে সে শয়তানের অনুসরণ করে যা তার নিজের আত্মার জন্য হবে ক্ষতিকর। নিজের ধ্বংস সে নিজে ডেকে আনে।
৪৩০৫। আল্লাহ্র প্রেরিত নবী ও রসুলেরা মানুষের শিক্ষার জন্য অমানুষিক পরিশ্রম করতে পারেন সত্য , কিন্তু তাদেরও ক্ষমতা সীমাবদ্ধ। তারা মানুষের “সীমিত স্বাধীন ইচ্ছাশক্তি ” যা স্রষ্টার বিশেষ দান , সেই মানসিক শক্তিকে কোনও পরিবর্তন করার ক্ষমতা রাখেন না। যদি কেহ তাদের শিক্ষাকে গ্রহণে অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করে তবে আল্লাহ্র কাছে জবাবদিহিতার জন্য সেই শুধুমাত্র দায়ী হবে আর কেহ নয়। দেখুন [৬ : ১০৭ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ৯৩৫।
