কার কাছে অবমাননাকর আযাব এবং চিরস্থায়ী শাস্তি নেমে আসে।
“Who it is to whom comes a Penalty of ignominy, and on whom descends a Penalty that abides.”
مَن يَأْتِيهِ عَذَابٌ يُخْزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيْهِ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ
Man ya/teehi AAathabun yukhzeehi wayahillu AAalayhi AAathabun muqeemun
YUSUFALI: “Who it is to whom comes a Penalty of ignominy, and on whom descends a Penalty that abides.”
PICKTHAL: Who it is unto whom cometh a doom that will abase him, and on whom there falleth everlasting doom.
SHAKIR: Who it is to whom there shall come a punishment which will disgrace him and to whom will be due a lasting punishment.
KHALIFA: “(You will find out) who has incurred shameful punishment, and has deserved an eternal retribution.”
৪০। “কার উপরে পতিত হবে লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক শাস্তি ৪৩০৩ এবং [ আখেরাতে ] আপাতিত হবে তার উপরে স্থায়ী শাস্তি। ”
৪৩০৩। দেখুন [ ১১ : ৯৩ ] আয়াত। এই আয়াতে শাস্তির বর্ণনার জন্য দুধরণের বর্ণনা ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। একটি হচ্ছে লাঞ্ছনাদায়ক বা অপমানজনক শাস্তি , অপরটি হচ্ছে স্থায়ী শাস্তি। সম্ভবতঃ শাস্তি প্রাপ্ত লোকের দুধরণের অবস্থাকে এই আয়াত দ্বারা বোঝানো হয়েছে। তার অবস্থা হবে নিম্নরূপ : ১) তা হবে লাঞ্ছলাদায়ক এবং ২) তা হবে চিরস্থায়ী।
