যদি তোমরা অস্বীকার কর, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের থেকে বেপরওয়া। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের কাফের হয়ে পড়া পছন্দ করেন না। পক্ষান্তরে যদি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে তা পছন্দ করেন। একের পাপ ভার অন্যে বহন করবে না। অতঃপর তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে ফিরে যাবে। তিনি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের কর্ম সম্বন্ধে অবহিত করবেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি অন্তরের বিষয় সম্পর্কেও অবগত।
If ye reject ((Allah)), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men’s) hearts.
إِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا يَرْضَى لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى ثُمَّ إِلَى رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
In takfuroo fa-inna Allaha ghaniyyun AAankum wala yarda liAAibadihi alkufra wa-in tashkuroo yardahu lakum wala taziru waziratun wizra okhra thumma ila rabbikum marjiAAukum fayunabbi-okum bima kuntum taAAmaloona innahu AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

PICKTHAL: If ye are thankless, yet Allah is Independent of you, though He is not pleased with thanklessness for His bondmen; and if ye are thankful He is pleased therewith for you. No laden soul will bear another’s load. Then unto your Lord is your return; and He will tell you what ye used to do. Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men).
SHAKIR: If you are ungrateful, then surely Allah is Self-sufficient above all need of you; and He does not like ungratefulness in His servants; and if you are grateful, He likes it in you; and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another; then to your Lord is your return, then will He inform you of what you did; surely He is Cognizant of what is in the breasts.
KHALIFA: If you disbelieve, GOD does not need anyone. But He dislikes to see His servants make the wrong decision. If you decide to be appreciative, He is pleased for you. No soul bears the sins of any other soul. Ultimately, to your Lord is your return, then He will inform you of everything you had done. He is fully aware of the innermost thoughts.
০৭। যদি তোমরা [আল্লাহকে ] প্রত্যাখান কর , প্রকৃতপক্ষে আল্লাহ্র তোমাদেরকে প্রয়োজন নাই। কিন্তু তিনি তাঁর বান্দার নিকট থেকে অকৃতজ্ঞতা পছন্দ করেন না ৪২৫৪। যদি তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হও তবে তিনি তোমাদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হবেন। একের [ পাপের ] বোঝা অন্যে বহন করবে না ৪২৫৫। সবশেষে তোমাদের প্রভুর নিকট হবে তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন , যখন তিনি তোমরা [ পৃথিবীর জীবনে ] যা করতে , তার [ প্রকৃত ] সত্যতা তোমাদের জানিয়ে দেবেন ; [ মানুষের] অন্তরে যা আছে নিশ্চয়ই তিনি তা ভালোভাবে জানেন।
৪২৫৪। আল্লাহ্ অভাবমুক্ত। সুতারাং মানুষের অকৃতজ্ঞতা আল্লাহ্র কোনও ক্ষতি করতে পারে না। আল্লাহ্ মানুষের মঙ্গল কামনা করেন। সে কারণে মানুষের আল্লাহ্র প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন আল্লাহ্ পছন্দ করেন এবং আল্লাহ্র সন্তুষ্টি অর্জনের জন্য আল্লাহ্র রাস্তায় কাজ করা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করা আল্লাহ্র করুণা অর্জন ও যোগ্যতা অর্জন করার উপায়।
। সে কারণে দেখা যায় কৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির চিত্ত প্রশান্তিতে ভরপুর থাকে। অপরপক্ষে অকৃতজ্ঞ ব্যক্তির অন্তরে অশান্তির দাবনলে ভরে যায় কারণ তারা আল্লাহ্র রহমত বঞ্চিত।
উপদেশ : কৃতজ্ঞতা গুণটির কথা কোরাণ শরীফে বহুবার উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে ,কারণ কৃতজ্ঞ অন্তর আল্লাহ্র রহমত প্রাপ্ত প্রশান্তিতে ভরা। অপরপক্ষে তার মত হতভাগ্য কে আছে ,যার অন্তর হাহাকার ভরা। অকৃতজ্ঞ অন্তরে না পাওয়ার দাবানলে দোযখের অগ্নি সৃষ্টি করে।
৪২৫৫। দেখুন অনুরূপ সূরা [ ৬ : ১৬৪ ] আয়াত। প্রতিটি মানুষকেই তার কর্মের হিসাব তার প্রতিপালকের নিকট দান করতে হবে। কেউই কারও কৃতকর্মের বোঝা বহন করবে না। ইসলামে কোনও প্রতিনিধিত্ব নাই। সকলেই স্ব-স্ব কর্মের জন্য দায়ী। সেখানে কোনও মধ্যস্থতার অবসর নাই। মৃত্যুর পরে প্রত্যেককে আল্লাহ্র নিকট নীত করা হবে। সেখানে প্রত্যেকের যাবতীয় কর্ম যা সে পৃথিবীতে করেছে, সব সংরক্ষিত থাকবে। এমনকি মনের অগোচরে যে চিন্তা ভাবনা, নিয়ত সবই আল্লাহ্র নিকট নীত হবে। আল্লাহ্ প্রত্যেককে তার কর্মফল অবগত করাবেন – তাঁর নিকট কোনও কিছুই গোপন থাকে না।
