فَرَاغَ إِلَى آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
Faragha ila alihatihim faqala ala ta/kuloona
YUSUFALI: Then did he turn to their gods and said, “will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?…
PICKTHAL: Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat?
SHAKIR: Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat?
KHALIFA: He then turned on their idols, saying, “Would you like to eat?
৯০। সুতারাং তারা তাকে পিছনে ফেলে চলে গেল।
৯১। তারপরে সে তাদের উপাস্যদের দিকে ফিরলো এবং বললো , ” [ তোমাদের সম্মুখের নৈবেদ্য ] তোমরা আহার করবে না ?
৯২। ” তোমাদের ব্যাপার কি যে তোমরা [ বুদ্ধিমানের মত ] কথা বল না ? ”
৯৩। তারপরে সে উহাদের ডানহাত দিয়ে সবলে আঘাত করলো ৪০৯০, ৪০৯১।
৪০৯০। উপরের টিকাতে বিষয়বস্তুর বিবরণ সম্বন্ধে যে আয়াতসমূহের উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে তা দেখুন।
৪০৯১। “সবলে” – অর্থাৎ তিনি তাঁর সর্বশক্তি প্রয়োগ করে মূর্তিগুলিকে আঘাত হানেন।
