আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করা কঠিনতর, না আমি অন্য যা সৃষ্টি করেছি? আমিই তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এঁটেল মাটি থেকে।
Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay!
فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍ
Faistaftihim ahum ashaddu khalqan am man khalaqna inna khalaqnahum min teenin lazibin
YUSUFALI: Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay!
PICKTHAL: Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay.
SHAKIR: Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay.
KHALIFA: Ask them, “Are they more difficult to create, or the other creations?” We created them from wet mud.
১১। তাদের মতামত শুধু জিজ্ঞাসা কর ৪০৪০। ওদের সৃষ্টি করা বেশী কঠিন না ; অন্য যা কিছু আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি [ তাদের ] ? ওদের আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি আঠালো মাটি থেকে ৪০৪১।
৪০৪০। “ওদের ” শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে কাফেরদের, পাপীদের জন্য এবং যারা আল্লাহ্র করুণা ও অনুগ্রহকে অস্বীকার করে। এবং পরলোকে অবিশ্বাস করে তাদেরকেও বোঝানো হয়েছে ” ওদের ” শব্দটি দ্বারা। এ সব ব্যক্তিরা নিজেদের সর্বদা অধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মনে করে থাকে – এদের অবস্থা “কলুর বলদের ” মত। নির্দ্দিষ্ট সীমার বাইরে দেখতে অক্ষম। নইলে বিশ্বের সকল সৃষ্ট পর্দাথের সৃষ্টি নৈপুন্য তার অনুভবে রেখাপাত করতো। বিশাল বিশ্ব ভূবনের পটভূমিতে নিজের নগন্যতা অনুভবে সক্ষম হতো। সামান্য মাটি থেকে সৃষ্ট হয়ে সে অহংকার ও দাম্ভিকতা প্রকাশ করতে সাহস পেতো না।
৪০৪১। দেখুন [ ৬ : ২ ] ; [ ৭ : ১২ ] ; [ ৩২ : ৭ ] প্রভৃতি।
