তারা আরও বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা আমাদের নেতা ও বড়দের কথা মেনেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা আমাদের পথভ্রষ্ট করেছিল।
And they will say: ”Our Lord! Verily, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us from the (Right) Way.
وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا
Waqaloo rabbana inna ataAAna sadatana wakubaraana faadalloona alssabeela
YUSUFALI: And they would say: “Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path.
PICKTHAL: And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way.
SHAKIR: And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path;
KHALIFA: They will also say, “Our Lord, we have obeyed our masters and leaders, but they led us astray.
৬৭। তারা আরও বলবে , ” হে আমাদের প্রভু ! আমরা আমাদের নেতা ও মাননীয় ব্যক্তির আনুগত্য করেছি, এবং তারা আমাদের [সঠিক ] পথ থেকে বিপথগামী করেছে।
৬৮। ” হে আমাদের প্রভু ! তাদের দ্বিগুণ শাস্তি দাও ৩৭৭৩ ; এবং তাদের অভিশপ্ত কর মহা অভিশাপ দ্বারা।”
৩৭৭৩। দেখুন অনুরূপ আয়াতের জন্য [ ২৫ : ৬৯ ] আয়াত ও টিকা ৩১২৯ এবং আয়াত [ ১১ : ২০ ] ও টিকা ১৫১৫। শাস্তি দ্বিগুণ করার কারণ :
১) তারা সুপথের পরিবর্তে পাপের পথে বা ভ্রান্ত পথে ছিলো।
২) নিজেরা পাপের পথ অবলম্বন ব্যতীতও তারা অপরকে এই পথে পরিচালিত করে।
