যারা আল্লাহর আয়াত সমূহ ও তাঁর সাক্ষাত অস্বীকার করে, তারাই আমার রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হবে এবং তাদের জন্যেই যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।
And those who disbelieve in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh and the Meeting with Him, it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will (have) a painful torment.
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَلِقَائِهِ أُوْلَئِكَ يَئِسُوا مِن رَّحْمَتِي وَأُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
Waallatheena kafaroo bi-ayati Allahi waliqa-ihi ola-ika ya-isoo min rahmatee waola-ika lahum AAathabun aleemun
YUSUFALI: Those who reject the Signs of Allah and the Meeting with Him (in the Hereafter),- it is they who shall despair of My Mercy: it is they who will (suffer) a most grievous Penalty.
PICKTHAL: Those who disbelieve in the revelations of Allah and in (their) Meeting with Him, such have no hope of My mercy. For such there is a painful doom.
SHAKIR: And (as to) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah and His meeting, they have despaired of My mercy, and these it is that shall have a painful punishment.
KHALIFA: Those who disbelieve in GOD’s revelations, and in meeting Him, have despaired from My mercy. They have incurred a painful retribution.

২৩। যারা আল্লাহ্র নিদর্শনকে এবং [পরলোকে ] তাঁর সাথে সাক্ষাৎকে প্রত্যাখান করে; এরাই তারা যারা আমার অনুগ্রহ সম্বন্ধে নিরাশ হয়। এরাই তারা যারা যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি [ ভোগ ] করবে ৩৪৪৩।
৩৪৪৩। ‘ তারা ‘ অর্থাৎ যারা আল্লাহ্র নিদর্শন ও পরকালে তাঁর সাক্ষাৎ অস্বীকার করে তারা। পরলোকে তাদের জন্য আছে শাস্তি ,হতাশা তাদের ঘিরে ধরবে এবং তারা যন্ত্রণাতে পতিত হবে। আল্লাহ্র করুণা ও দয়া সকলের জন্য অবারিত। যারা আল্লাহ্র উপরে ঈমান আনে ,তাদের আত্মা আল্লাহ্র নূরে উদ্ভাসিত হয়, ফলে তারা আল্লাহ্র অনুগ্রহ লাভে ধন্য হয়। অপরপক্ষে , যারা আল্লাহ্কে অস্বীকার করে তাদের আত্মায় আল্লাহ্র নূর পৌঁছাতে পারে না। ফলে অন্ধকারচ্ছন্ন আত্মা আত্মিক যন্ত্রণায় ভোগে।
