সকালে মূসা জননীর অন্তর অস্থির হয়ে পড়ল। যদি আমি তাঁর হৃদয়কে দৃঢ় করে না দিতাম, তবে তিনি মূসাজনিত অস্থিরতা প্রকাশ করেই দিতেন। দৃঢ় করলাম, যাতে তিনি থাকেন বিশ্ববাসীগণের মধ্যে।
And the heart of the mother of Mûsa (Moses) became empty [from every thought, except the thought of Mûsa (Moses)]. She was very near to disclose his (case, i.e. the child is her son), had We not strengthened her heart (with Faith), so that she might remain as one of the believers.
وَأَصْبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَى فَارِغًا إِن كَادَتْ لَتُبْدِي بِهِ لَوْلَا أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَى قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Waasbaha fu-adu ommi moosa farighan in kadat latubdee bihi lawla an rabatna AAala qalbiha litakoona mina almu/mineena
YUSUFALI: But there came to be a void in the heart of the mother of Moses: She was going almost to disclose his (case), had We not strengthened her heart (with faith), so that she might remain a (firm) believer.
PICKTHAL: And the heart of the mother of Moses became void, and she would have betrayed him if We had not fortified her heart, that she might be of the believers.
SHAKIR: And the heart of Musa’s mother was free (from anxiety) she would have almost disclosed it had We not strengthened her heart so that she might be of the believers.
KHALIFA: The mind of Moses’ mother was growing so anxious that she almost gave away his identity. But we strengthened her heart, to make her a believer.
১০। কিন্তু মুসা- জননীর হৃদয় অস্থির হয়ে পড়েছিলো। আমি তার হৃদয়কে [ বিশ্বাসে] দৃঢ় করে না দিলে, সে তো তাঁর [ মুসার ] পরিচয় প্রকাশে প্রায় উদ্যত হয়েছিলো ৩৩৩৭।
৩৩৩৭। সন্তানের থেকে বিচ্ছেদের ফলে, মুসার মায়ের হৃদয় দুঃখ ভারাক্রান্ত হয়ে পড়েছিলো। কিন্তু তাঁর ছিলো আল্লাহ্র কল্যাণকর পরিকল্পনার উপরে অগাধ বিশ্বাস, ফলে আল্লাহ্ জননীর মনঃস্তুষ্টির জন্য তারই কোলে সন্তানকে বিষ্ময়করভাবে পৌঁছে দেন। ঘটনাটি এরূপ : শিশু মুসা কোনও ধাত্রীরই স্তন্য পান করতে অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করে। শেষে মুসার জননী ধাত্রীর পরিচয়ে মুসাকে স্তন্য পান করানোর প্রস্তাব দেন। এবারে শিশু মুসা নিজ মাতার স্তন্য পান করতে থাকেন। এ ভাবেই নিজ মাতা, ধাত্রীর পরিচয়ে মুসাকে নিজ তত্বাবধানে রাখতে সক্ষম হন। ঐশ্বরিক পরিকল্পনা কত বিস্ময়করভাবেই না কাজ করে। আল্লাহ্র পরিকল্পনা বাস্তবায়িত হওয়ার জন্য সময়ের প্রয়োজন। সেই সময় পর্যন্ত ধৈর্য্য ধারণের প্রয়োজন হয়। মুসার জননীর হৃদয়ে আল্লাহ্ ধৈর্য্য ধারণের ক্ষমতা দ্বারা শক্তিশালী করেছিলেন। আল্লাহ্ পরম করুণাময়।
