যখন তারা পিপীলিকা অধ্যূষিত উপত্যকায় পৌঁছাল, তখন এক পিপীলিকা বলল, হে পিপীলিকার দল, তোমরা তোমাদের গৃহে প্রবেশ কর। অন্যথায় সুলায়মান ও তার বাহিনী অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদেরকে পিষ্ট করে ফেলবে।
Till, when they came to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said: ”O ants! Enter your dwellings, lest Sulaimân (Solomon) and his hosts crush you, while they perceive not.”
حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَى وَادِي النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
atta itha ataw AAala wadi alnnamli qalat namlatun ya ayyuha alnnamlu odkhuloo masakinakum la yahtimannakum sulaymanu wajunooduhu wahum la yashAAuroona
YUSUFALI: At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: “O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it.”
PICKTHAL: Till, when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving.
SHAKIR: Until when they came to the valley of the Naml, a Namlite said: O Naml! enter your houses, (that) Sulaiman and his hosts may not crush you while they do not know.
KHALIFA: When they approached the valley of the ants, one ant said, “O you ants, go into your homes, lest you get crushed by Solomon and his soldiers, without perceiving.”
১৮। অবশেষে , যখন তারা পিঁপড়া অধ্যুষিত [ নীচু ] উপত্যকাতে পৌঁছুলো , তখন এক পিঁপড়া বলেছিলো, ” হে পিপীলিকা সকল! তোমরা নিজেদের গৃহে প্রবেশ কর যেনো, সুলায়মান এবং তাঁর বাহিনী তাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে তোমাদের পদতলে পিষে না ফেলে ৩২৫৮। ”
৩২৫৮। এই আয়াতটি ও পরবর্তী আয়াতটি একসাথে পড়তে হবে, তাহলেই আয়াতগুলির প্রতীকধর্মী অর্থ সুস্পষ্ট হবে। পিপীলিকা খুবই ক্ষুদ্র ও নগণ্য প্রাণী। পৃথিবীর শক্তিশালী ও বিশাল প্রাণীকূল দ্বারা তার ক্ষতির সম্ভাবনা , এমন কি অজ্ঞানতা ও অসাবধানতাবশতঃ পদতলে পিষ্ঠ হওয়ার প্রচুর সম্ভাবনা বিদ্যমান। তবুও এত ক্ষুদ্র প্রাণী হওয়া সত্বেও তারা তাদের গৃহে সুরক্ষিত। যুগ যুগ অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছে কিন্তু ক্ষুদ্রতা সত্বেও তারা ধরাতল থেকে নিশ্চিহ্ন হয়ে যায় নাই। তাদের মাঝে মহান স্রষ্টা যে জ্ঞান দান করেছেন তার সাহায্যেই তারা যুগ যুগ ধরে পৃথিবীতে টিকে আছে এবং পৃথিবীর প্রকৃতির ভারসাম্য রক্ষায় সাহায্য করে চলেছে। ঠিক সে ভাবেই পার্থিব জগতে যারা সমাজের চোখে নগন্য , হতভাগ্য – তাদের জন্যও আধ্যাত্মিক জগতের দ্বারা উম্মুক্ত করে রেখেছেন মহান স্রষ্টা । আল্লাহ্র চোখে তারাও নগন্য নয়।
