অতঃপর তারা তাদের রশি ও লাঠি নিক্ষেপ করল এবং বলল, ফেরাউনের ইযযতের কসম, আমরাই বিজয়ী হব।
So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: “By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!”
فَأَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغَالِبُونَ
Faalqaw hibalahum waAAisiyyahum waqaloo biAAizzati firAAawna inna lanahnu alghaliboona
YUSUFALI: So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: “By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!”
PICKTHAL: Then they threw down their cords and their staves and said: By Pharaoh’s might, lo! we verily are the winners.
SHAKIR: So they cast down their cords and their rods and said: By Firon’s power, we shall most surely be victorious.
KHALIFA: They threw their ropes and sticks, and said, “By Pharaoh’s majesty, we will be the victors.”
৪৪। সুতারাং তারা তাদের দড়ি এবং লাঠি নিক্ষেপ করলো এবং বললো , ” পরাক্রমশালী ফেরাউনের শপথ, আমরাই বিজয়ী হব।” ৩১৬৩
৩১৬৩। ফেরাউন নিজেকে ঈশ্বর দাবী করতো। সেই কারণে তারা ফেরাউনের ক্ষমতার কাছে আবেদন করেছিলো।
