আমি তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ, তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের কিছু দৃষ্টান্ত এবং আল্লাহ ভীরুদের জন্যে দিয়েছি উপদেশ।
And indeed We have sent down for you Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) that make things plain, and the example of those who passed away before you, and an admonition for those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious – see V.2:2).
وَلَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ آيَاتٍ مُّبَيِّنَاتٍ وَمَثَلًا مِّنَ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
Walaqad anzalna ilaykum ayatin mubayyinatin wamathalan mina allatheena khalaw min qablikum wamawAAithatan lilmuttaqeena
YUSUFALI: We have already sent down to you verses making things clear, an illustration from (the story of) people who passed away before you, and an admonition for those who fear (Allah).
PICKTHAL: And verily We have sent down for you revelations that make plain, and the example of those who passed away before you. An admonition unto those who ward off (evil).
SHAKIR: And certainly We have sent to you clear communications and a description of those who have passed away before you, and an admonition to those who guard (against evil).
KHALIFA: We have revealed to you clarifying revelations, and examples from the past generations, and an enlightenment for the righteous.
৩৪। আমি ইতিমধ্যে সব কিছু সুস্পষ্ট করে তোমার নিকট আয়াতসমূহ প্রেরণ করেছি যা হচ্ছে তোমাদের পূর্বে গত হয়েছে তাদের কাহিনী থেকে দৃষ্টান্ত এবং যারা আল্লাহকে ভয় করে তাদের প্রতি উপদেশ ২৯৯৫।
২৯৯৫। এই আয়াতটি পরবর্তী আয়াতের ভূমিকা স্বরূপ যেখানে স্বর্গীয় আলোর উল্লেখ আছে যার অর্থ হচ্ছে মহিমান্বিত আল্লাহ্র রূপ।
