এবং যাদের পাল্লা হাল্কা হবে তারাই নিজেদের ক্ষতিসাধন করেছে, তারা দোযখেই চিরকাল বসবাস করবে।
And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide.
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ
Waman khaffat mawazeenuhu faola-ika allatheena khasiroo anfusahum fee jahannama khalidoona
YUSUFALI: But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide.
PICKTHAL: And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding.
SHAKIR: And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell
KHALIFA: Those whose weights are light are the ones who lost their souls; they abide in Hell forever.
১০৩। কিন্তু যাদের পাল্লা হবে হাল্কা , এরাই তারা যাদের আত্মা [ মিথ্যার মাঝে ] হারিয়ে গেছে ; ২৯৪৩ তাদের আবাস হবে জাহান্নাম।
২৯৪৩। এই আয়াতে দোযখবাসীদের অবস্থান বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে। যারা পৃথিবীতে মন্দ কাজ করেছে, তারা নিজেরা নিজেদের আত্মার ক্ষতি করেছে। পুনরুত্থানের মাধ্যমে তাদের শেষ বিচারের দিনে সমবেত করা হবে। মন্দ কাজের পরিণতিতে তাদের দোযখ বাস ঘটবে। ক্ষতি বা দোযখ বাস অর্থ এই নয় যে, আত্মার বিনাশ ঘটবে বা আত্মার আর কিছু অনুভবের ক্ষমতা থাকবে না। দোযখের যন্ত্রণা আত্মা প্রতি পলে অনুভব করবে যার বর্ণনা আছে আয়াত [ ১৪ : ১৭ ]। আত্মার বিনাশ ঘটলে বা আত্মার যন্ত্রণা অনুভব ক্ষমতা না থাকলে তখন এ সব যন্ত্রণা আর যন্ত্রনা থাকতো না।
