এবং আমি মরিয়ম তনয় ও তাঁর মাতাকে এক নিদর্শন দান করেছিলাম। এবং তাদেরকে এক অবস্থানযোগ্য স্বচ্ছ পানি বিশিষ্ট টিলায় আশ্রয় দিয়েছিলাম।
And We made the son of Maryam (Mary) and his mother as a sign, And We gave them refuge on high ground, a place of rest, security and flowing streams.
وَجَعَلْنَا ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ آيَةً وَآوَيْنَاهُمَا إِلَى رَبْوَةٍ ذَاتِ قَرَارٍ وَمَعِينٍ
WajaAAalna ibna maryama waommahu ayatan waawaynahuma ila rabwatin thati qararin wamaAAeenin
YUSUFALI: And We made the son of Mary and his mother as a Sign: We gave them both shelter on high ground, affording rest and security and furnished with springs.
PICKTHAL: And We made the son of Mary and his mother a portent, and We gave them refuge on a height, a place of flocks and watersprings.
SHAKIR: And We made the son of Marium and his mother a sign, and We gave them a shelter on a lofty ground having meadows and springs.
KHALIFA: We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign, and we gave them refuge on a mesa with food and drink.
৫০। এবং আমি মারইয়াম পুত্র ও তাঁর মাতাকে নিদর্শন স্বরূপ করেছিলাম ২৯০৬। আমি তাদের ঊভয়কে ঝরণা বিশিষ্ট উচ্চ স্থানে আরাম ও নিরাপদে বসবাসের জন্য আশ্রয় দান করেছিলাম ২৯০৭।
২৯০৬। “মরিয়ম তনয়” অর্থাৎ হযরত ঈসার কথা এখানে বলা হয়েছে, কুমারী মরিয়মের গর্ভে ঈসার জন্ম বিশ্বে এক অলৌকিক ঘটনা। কিন্তু আল্লাহ্র এই অলৌকিক কর্ম বোঝার ক্ষমতা সমসাময়িক লোকদের ছিলো না। তারা বিবি মরিয়মকে অসতীরূপে আখ্যায়িত করেছিলো। কিন্তু শিশু ঈসা তাঁর অলৌকিক ক্ষমতা প্রদর্শন দ্বারা তাঁর মাতাকে এই অপমান ও গ্লানি থেকে উদ্ধার করেন [ ১৯ : ২৭ – ৩৩ ] এবং প্রমাণ করেন যে মরিয়মের বিরুদ্ধে উত্থাপিত অভিযোগ মিথ্যা।
২৯০৭। বিবি মরিয়ম ও শিশু ঈসার কাহিনী বর্ণনা আছে [ ১৯ : ২২-২৬ ] আয়াতে। যেখানে মরিয়ম ও শিশু ঈসা আশ্রয় গ্রহণ করেছিলেন সেই স্থানের বর্ণনা আছে এই আয়াতে। নিজ গোত্র থেকে বিতাড়িত হয়ে, তিনি যেখানে আশ্রয় গ্রহণ করেন তা ছিলো খেজুর গাছ বিশিষ্ট উচ্চভূমি যার নিচ দিয়ে প্রস্রবণ বয়ে যাচ্ছিল। সেখানেই বিবি মরিয়ম সন্তান প্রসব করেন এবং কিছুকাল বিশ্রাম করেন এবং সেখান থেকেই শিশুসহ নিজ গোত্রের নিকট গমন করেন।
