তুমি কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহ আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেন, অতঃপর ভূপৃষ্ট সবুজ-শ্যামল হয়ে উঠে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সুক্ষদর্শী, সর্ববিষয়ে খবরদার।
See you not that Allâh sends down water (rain) from the sky, and then the earth becomes green? Verily, Allâh is the Most Kind and Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء فَتُصْبِحُ الْأَرْضُ مُخْضَرَّةً إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ
Alam tara anna Allaha anzala mina alssama-i maan fatusbihu al-ardu mukhdarratan inna Allaha lateefun khabeerun
YUSUFALI: Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and forthwith the earth becomes clothed with green? for Allah is He Who understands the finest mysteries, and is well-acquainted (with them).
PICKTHAL: Seest thou not how Allah sendeth down water from the sky and then the earth becometh green upon the morrow? Lo! Allah is Subtile, Aware.
SHAKIR: Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the cloud so the earth becomes green? Surely Allah is Benignant, Aware.
KHALIFA: Do you not see that GOD sends down from the sky water that turns the land green? GOD is Sublime, Cognizant.
৬৩। তোমরা কি দেখ না যে, আল্লাহ্ আকাশ থেকে বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করেন, এবং [ ফলে ] অবিলম্বে পৃথিবী সবুজ চাঁদরে ঢেকে যায় ? [ একমাত্র ] আল্লাহ্ -ই [ সৃষ্টির ] সুক্ষ রহস্য বুঝতে পারেন এবং [ তার সাথে ] সুপরিজ্ঞাত ২৮৪৪।
২৮৪৪। “Latif ” আল্লাহ্র আর এক নাম। এর সঠিক অর্থ প্রকাশ করা ভাষার পক্ষে দুঃসাধ্য। এর ধারণা অন্তরে ধারণ করা মানুষের অনুধাবন ক্ষমতার সর্বোচ্চ বিকাশের পক্ষেও কষ্টকর। তবুও এই শব্দটি দ্বারা সর্বশক্তিমান আল্লাহ্র যে সব গুণবাচক বিশেণকে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে তা নিম্নরূপ : ১) সুক্ষদর্শী অন্তর্দশী, ২) এত সুক্ষ যে মানুষের দৃষ্টিসীমার বাইরে , ৩) এত পবিত্র যে ধারণা শক্তির অতীত, ৪) এত স্বয়ং সম্পূর্ণ যে পৃথিবীর সকল অতি সুক্ষ পার্থক্য এবং রহস্য বুঝতে সক্ষম ৫) এত দয়ালু এবং মহৎ যার দয়া ও মহত্বের প্রকাশ সর্বোচ্চ। মানুষের প্রতি তাঁর দয়া, করুণা ও অনুগ্রহ ধারণার অতীত। আল্লাহ্র নাম স্মরণের সাথে সাথে আল্লাহ্র এই গুণবাচক বিশেষণ গুলিকে হৃদয়ে অনুভবের চেষ্টা করা প্রয়োজন।
