এবং মানুষের মধ্যে হজ্বের জন্যে ঘোষণা প্রচার কর। তারা তোমার কাছে আসবে পায়ে হেঁটে এবং সর্বপ্রকার কৃশকায় উটের পিঠে সওয়ার হয়ে দূর-দূরান্ত থেকে।
And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).
وَأَذِّن فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ
Waaththin fee alnnasi bialhajji ya/tooka rijalan waAAala kulli damirin ya/teena min kulli fajjin AAameeqin
YUSUFALI: “And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;
PICKTHAL: And proclaim unto mankind the pilgrimage. They will come unto thee on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every deep ravine,
SHAKIR: And proclaim among men the Pilgrimage: they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, coming from every remote path,
KHALIFA: “And proclaim that the people shall observe Hajj pilgrimage. They will come to you walking or riding on various exhausted (means of transportation). They will come from the farthest locations.”
২৭। ” মানুষের মাঝে ঘোষণা করে দাও। তারা তোমার নিকট আসবে পদব্রজে , এবং সকল প্রকার উটের [পিঠে ] যেগুলি দূর -দূরান্তর উপত্যকা পথ অতিক্রম করার ফলে শীর্ণকায় ২৭৯৯,-
২৭৯৯। হজ্জ্বের ঘোষণার পরে দূরের এবং কাছের সকলেই হজ্জ্বের জন্য সমবেত হবে। যারা কাছের তারা পদব্রজে, যারা দূরের তারা উটের পিঠে [ অর্থাৎ যানবাহনে ] গমন করে হজ্জ্বের জন্য সমবেত হবে। ” দূর- দূরান্তর পথ অতিক্রম করার ফলে শীর্ণকায়।” অর্থাৎ দূরের পথ অতিক্রমের ফলে উটেরা হয়ে পড়বে শীর্ণ। কিন্তু বিনিময়ে উটের আরোহীরা পাবে আত্মিক নেয়মাত যার বর্ণনা আছে পরবর্তী আয়াতে।
