মূসা বললেনঃ দূর হ, তোর জন্য সারা জীবন এ শাস্তিই রইল যে, তুই বলবি; আমাকে স্পর্শ করো না, এবং তোর জন্য একটি নির্দিষ্ট ওয়াদা আছে, যার ব্যতিক্রম হবে না। তুই তোর সেই ইলাহের প্রতি লক্ষ্য কর, যাকে তুই ঘিরে থাকতি। আমরা সেটি জালিয়ে দেবই। অতঃপর একে বিক্ষিপ্ত করে সাগরে ছড়িয়ে দেবই।
Mûsa (Moses) said: ”Then go away! And verily, your (punishment) in this life will be that you will say: ”Touch me not (i.e.you will live alone exiled away from mankind); and verily (for a future torment), you have a promise that will not fail. And look at your ilâh (god), to which you have been devoted. We will certainly burn it, and scatter its particles in the sea.”
قَالَ فَاذْهَبْ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّنْ تُخْلَفَهُ وَانظُرْ إِلَى إِلَهِكَ الَّذِي ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفًا لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُ ثُمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُ فِي الْيَمِّ نَسْفًا
Qala faithhab fa-inna laka fee alhayati an taqoola la misasa wa-inna laka mawAAidan lan tukhlafahu waonthur ila ilahika allathee thalta AAalayhi AAakifan lanuharriqannahu thumma lanansifannahu fee alyammi nasfan
YUSUFALI: (Moses) said: “Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, ‘touch me not’; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!”
PICKTHAL: (Moses) said: Then go! and lo! in this life it is for thee to say: Touch me not! and lo! there is for thee a tryst thou canst not break. Now look upon thy god of which thou hast remained a votary. Verily we will burn it and will scatter its dust over the sea.
SHAKIR: He said: Begone then, surely for you it will be in this life to say, Touch (me) not; and surely there is a threat for you, which shall not be made to fail to you, and look at your god to whose worship you kept (so long); we will certainly burn it, then we will certainly scatter it a (wide) scattering in the sea.
KHALIFA: He said, “Then go, and, throughout your life, do not even come close. You have an appointed time (for your final judgment) that you can never evade. Look at your god that you used to worship; we will burn it and throw it into the sea, to stay down there forever.”
৯৭। মুসা বলেছিলো, ” দূর হও! এই জীবনে তোমার [ শাস্তি ] হবে এই যে, তুমি বলবে, আমাকে ছুঁয়ো না; ২৬২২ উপরন্তু [ ভবিষ্যতের শাস্তির ] জন্য অঙ্গীকার রইল যার ব্যত্যয় হবে না ২৬২৩। এখন তোমার উপাস্যের প্রতি লক্ষ্য কর,যার পূঁজায় তুমি আত্মনিয়োগ করেছিলে। অবশ্যই আমি তা জ্বলন্ত আগুনে [ গলিয়ে ] ফেলবো এবং টুকরা টুকরা করে সাগরে নিক্ষেপ করবো ২৬২৪। ”
২৬২২। হযরত মুসা সামিরীর জন্য পার্থিব জীবনে এই শাস্তি ধার্য করেন যে, সবাই তাকে বর্জন করবে এবং কেউ তার কাছে ঘেষবে না। তিনি তাকেও নির্দ্দেশ দেন যে, কারও গায়ে হাত লাগাবে না। সম্ভবতঃ এই শাস্তিটি একটি আইনের আকারে ছিলো।
২৬২৩। “উপরন্তু [ভবিষ্যতের শাস্তির] জন্য অঙ্গীকার রইল যার ব্যত্যয় হবে না।” অর্থাৎ নির্দ্দিষ্ট সময় অন্তে আল্লাহ্র শাস্তির ব্যতিক্রম ঘটবে না।
২৬২৪। এ ভাবেই সোনার গোবৎসকে ধবংস করা হয়। এখানেই সামিরীর কাহিনীর শেষ হয় এবং এই কাহিনীর উপদেশ পূর্ব টিকা ২৬২০ তে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।
