আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, সন্তান গ্রহণ করবেন, তিনি পবিত্র ও মহিমাময় সত্তা, তিনি যখন কোন কাজ করা সিদ্ধান্ত করেন, তখন একথাই বলেনঃ হও এবং তা হয়ে যায়।
It befits not (the Majesty of) Allâh that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allâh, by saying that ’Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allâh]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, ”Be!” and it is.
مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ سُبْحَانَهُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
Ma kana lillahi an yattakhitha min waladin subhanahu itha qada amran fa-innama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoonu
YUSUFALI: It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, “Be”, and it is.
PICKTHAL: It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.
SHAKIR: It beseems not Allah that He should take to Himself a ! son, glory to be Him; when He has decreed a matter He only says to it “Be,” and it is.
KHALIFA: It does not befit GOD that He begets a son, be He glorified. To have anything done, He simply says to it, “Be,” and it is.
৩৫। আল্লাহ্র [ মর্যাদার ] সাথে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ নয় যে, তিনি সন্তান গ্রহণ করবেন। তিনি পবিত্র মহিমাময় ! তিনি যখন কিছু স্থির করেন তখন শুধু বলেন, ” হও ” এবং তা হয়ে যায় ২৪৮৭।
২৪৮৭। সন্তানের জন্মদান করা জৈবিক ব্যাপার যা সমস্ত প্রাণীকূলের মধ্যে বর্তমান। আল্লাহ্ পবিত্র ও মহিমাময়। তাঁকে এই সাধারণ প্রাণীকূলের সমগোত্রীয় কল্পনা করার মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্র মহিমাকেই খর্ব করা হয়। তিনি অভাবমুক্ত। তাঁর মাঝে যৌনক্ষুধা বর্তমান এ ধারণা দ্বারা তাঁর মর্যদাকে হানি করা হয়। আল্লাহ্ সন্তান ধারণ করেন এ অপবাদ তারাই দেয় , যারা এই পার্থিব জীবনের বাইরে চিন্তা করতে অক্ষম। মোশরেকদের কুসংস্কার ও মানুষকে দেবত্ব আরোপের অভ্যাস থেকে উপরোক্ত ধারণার উদ্ভব।
