এবং অনুসারীরা বলবে, কতইনা ভাল হত, যদি আমাদিগকে পৃথিবীতে ফিরে যাবার সুযোগ দেয়া হত। তাহলে আমরাও তাদের প্রতি তেমনি অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে যেতাম, যেমন তারা অসন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে আমাদের প্রতি। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে দেখাবেন তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদেরকে অনুতপ্ত করার জন্যে। অথচ, তারা কস্মিনকালেও আগুন থেকে বের হতে পারবে না।
And those who followed will say: ”If only we had one more chance to return (to the worldly life), we would disown (declare ourselves as innocent from) them as they have disowned (declared themselves as innocent from) us.” Thus Allâh will show them their deeds as regrets for them. And they will never get out of the Fire .
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُواْ مِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ
Waqala allatheena ittabaAAoo law anna lana karratan fanatabarraa minhum kama tabarraoo minna kathalika yureehimu Allahu aAAmalahum hasaratin AAalayhim wama hum bikharijeena mina alnnari
YUSUFALI: And those who followed would say: “If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us.” Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire.
PICKTHAL: And those who were but followers will say: If a return were possible for us, we would disown them even as they have disowned us. Thus will Allah show them their own deeds as anguish for them, and they will not emerge from the Fire.
SHAKIR: And those who followed shall say: Had there been for us a return, then we would renounce them as they have renounced us. Thus will Allah show them their deeds to be intense regret to them, and they shall not come forth from the fire.
KHALIFA: Those who followed will say, “If we can get another chance, we will disown them, as they have disowned us now.” GOD thus shows them the consequences of their works as nothing but remorse; they will never exit Hell.
১৬৬। যাদের অনুসরণ করা হয়েছিলো, তারা অনুসারীগণ থেকে নিজেদের যখন মুক্ত করবে, তারা [অনুসারীগণ] তখন শাস্তিকে প্রত্যক্ষ করবে এবং এদের মধ্যকার সকল সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন হয়ে যাবে।
১৬৭। যারা অনুসরণ করেছিলো, তারা বলবে, ‘যদি আমাদের আর একবার সুযোগ দেয়া হতো আমরা তাদের সাথে সকল সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করতাম, তারা যেরূপ আমাদের সাথে সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন করেছে।’ এরূপেই আল্লাহ্ তাদের কাজের [পরিণামকে] আক্ষেপের বিষয়রূপে দেখাবেন। তাদের জন্য আগুন থেকে বের হওয়ার কোন উপায় থাকবে না ১৬৮।
১৬৮। দেখুন [৩:১৫৬], [৮:৩৬], [১৯:৩৯], [৬৯:৫০], [২৫:২৩]। মৃত্যুর পরে আমাদের কৃতকর্মের ফলাফল হবে অপরিবর্তনীয়। অবিশ্বাসীরা পরলোকে অনুতাপের অনলে দগ্ধ হতে থাকবে যা থেকে তাদের মুক্তি ঘটবে না।
